I used to catch Chris Cain at grasshoppers in Los Gatos in the early 80s. The man never stops being great.

Chris Cain is, without any doubt, an exceptionally outstanding (blues) guitarist, the chops, taste, performance. Nothing can be taken away from him. It is amusing how, after having oberved, studied and learned so much from B.B. King, voice tone, phrasing, emphasis/emphases, guitar-playing tone and phrasing, body/head/face-movement, he looks like he could be B.B.'s younger brother. Not a bad model to absorb, model or be almost identical to.
