It didn't sound like rambling to me. My husband says I ramble when I'm just trying to tell him something. I don't think he knows what rambling is lol. You weren't rambling 😊.
The amount of time and loving detail that you put into each page and project is so inspiring to me. I also like to add special little details that I think are very important but that most people miss. So, I understand.
I think it's good for you to talk to all of us too. The connection with this wonderful community is so important to many of us who are isolated. And especially if we are isolated all the time, not just now. And, it's good to hear your voice.

I enjoyed Ocean Song very much, beautifully written. The part about sun bonnet in particular got me thinking of the bits of me left behind, and as a lover of old things I often wonder about their stories. A lovely theme for a journal, the detail in the kit and the story has made my little catch up the most relaxing and mentally detoxing moment of the week. Thank you.

A stunning kit! I saw the video of the journal also. What an incredible piece if work, both the journal and the video were amazing. I can tell how much work has gone into this kit but to be honest I could never in a million years afford to purchase it. I'm wondering if in the future you might scan these pages, the tags, journal cards and make a more affordable digital kit. I'm sure there many who would purchase it. Beautiful work as always, so nice to see you back.

Thanks for your comment Marie. Is sewing easy? Well that a big question, but I will say that sewing paper is easier than sewing fabric and clothes, so that's a good head start :)

This is a very beautiful kit. Thank you for showing it to us. I would like to know how you made the stamps? Did you print them onto pre-perforated paper? All your creative ideas are lovely especially the little pieces of hand sewn ephemera :)

@30:36 the mermaid 🧜🏻♀️ reminds me of a technique I fell in love with that uses these particular calligraphy pens/markers & it’s quite interesting. The black they use is water based and when you go back over your markings- you get this incredibly lovely bleeding of pinks and turquoise’s.
It’s a bit unpredictable but the results are always so beautiful and it’s quite addicting.
The pens are called Elegant Writers and found quite easily at most stores. Look up some videos on elegant writer art.
