Battletrap was awesome, sure he didn't go down awesome, but awesome nonetheless. The gatling gun he has is epic, and the way he uses his cables is unique. I honestly saw him as comparable to Megatron's trinity.
As a MASSIVE fan of the live action Transformers ive got this to say. This is what we want to see from the minor villains.... every scene of them being intimidating but also useful... since ROTF the minor villains have had very little impact during the fight scenes and ultimately end up being used as cannon fodder for Optimus and Bee to slaughter. But battletrap and Nightbird were fighting Autobots, making a nuisance of themselves, they SPOKE and then had meaningful deaths at the end. More of this please.
Words of battletrap at 0:25 "catch!" At 0:36 "scourge, I have eyes on the key." At 1:56 "come here." And lastly, at 2:55 "someone give me a real fight!" This is why I love battletrap.
Felt like longer because this only showed the scenes he was front and center. While watching the movie we typically count him as part of the scenes where he’s not in focus, but still present. This video cut early when Battletrap went out of focus during their landing, but the three of them walked quite a bit while Scourge talked.
Sucks that despite being a "near invincible" herald of Unicron he didn't do anything in the final battle before instantly dying. He and Nightbird should've contributed more and took on multiple of the Autobots and Maximals at the same time
They had to say that so he sounds like a bigger threat than he really is. It's kind of sad. A trio of villains with such potential just thrown down the drain.
The least he's a lot memorable than any Bayverse Decepticons and doesn't Bayverse Barricaded out of the battlefield and die fighting instead of running away or just disappear. Coming from someone who grows up with Bayformers here.

Due to a surprise attack between 2 optimus without giving him a chance to defend himself, in addition to the fact that before he was fighting with primal but then he was left alone against welljack and optimus seconds later.
The g1 battletrap isnt the most memorable character ever, tge concept is cool but hes basically non-existent I think this version of battletrap will become the new stable version. He looks so cool and has some cool moments for his limited amount of time
Battletraps feats consist of: taking 2 autobots on at once 2 times, taking down 2 autobots at once, throwing arcee though a pillar, taking on optimus primal and surviving (when the autobots and maximals charged) and finally taking on optimus and wheeljack (He forced them to take cover before dying). At least he had more than nightbird

autobot and decepticon are not races, they're factions. terrorcons are likely another faction of cybertronians that colonized or created another planet, making it their new homeworld.
Think if some humans left earth and colonised mars, thats what i think is the case here, their all cybertronians just probably birthed away from their home of origin with literally no difference in biology, only in where they originate.

The fight was too pathetic. It was not as hard-core or brutal like the bayverse transformers, especially the dark of the moon and age of extinction.
