#SilentPlanet - Видеоклипы
I’m convinced that Silent Planet could incorporate elements of genres outside of metalcore and make it work and this song is proof; great song.
I do like this song. But Northlane sounds are massive in this song. Especially from the Obsidian album. Seems metal core is making a push for much more electronic elements. Thornhill and Void of Vision are going the same way also.
This band just doesn’t write a bad song. They keep writing banger after banger. Really enjoy the direction they’re going.
Sick Logo Fran!
I fucking love the HEALTH vibes to this song
I wasnt convinced on my first listen. But after a few more listens, this is amazing
This sound is everything that the classic symptoms record, by Architect , should’ve sounded like. Very impressive. Always love Silent Planet no matter what they do.
If that album was full of songs like these, it would’ve been one of if not my favorite album ever. I just love the metal + synth combo
Loved the production and the final chorus on this one !
Buster Odeholm from HLB and Vildhjarta produced this one. He is the king! And I love Silent Planet. Perfect mixture!
Welcome back! It’s amazing how the discussion about Northlane’s Alien and Obsidian (especially) feeling fresh and essential to the metalcore genre has more weight to it. Bad Omens pushed it forward with TDOPOM and now everyone’s doing it. Reminds me a lot of when Hybrid Theory came out years ago. There’s always one band that does something out there and then it become the new era.
This is not a bad comment at all. I’m a fan and I’m here for it lol.
Great reaction as always. Awesome song too 🔥💪
Alien changed the game for everyone
I strongly agree with the Hybrid Theory analogy, and I could also throw Sempiternal here.
Actually this song gives me strong Cypher vibes and I love It.
Great comment! Absolutely agree, I feel the same, especially with Northlane's Obsidian. Love this album, and Alien too!
Plus, the Bad Omens mention I totally agree
Okay.. but can we appreciate Garrett’s clean vocal singing in general🥺🖤 such a rare moment in time. 🫶🏻 Without Thomas, I’m hoping we get to hear more clean stuff from Garrett.
Considering his really close friend is Rory from dayseeeker hopefully he has been working with him on their free time and we will hear more
Another amazing band
Northlane's influence being felt here. They really set the bar. I love this new SP sound.
I thought more Bad omens
@@HellSpartanZ eh, too heavy compared to BO imo. Northlane still retain their heaviness, so I guess I find the Northlane comparison to be most fitting.
I am unabashedly in love with this band. I’ve been listening to them for almost a decade now and their music has meant so much to me in so many ways. I will admit that when I first heard this new song I was a little taken aback but I love it now.
Same. One of my buddies put me on to them around the time Panic Room came out as a single and they’ve been a staple since then. Always been amazing and their growth has been such a journey to witness.
I worked with them at a festival called iMatter back in 2015.. been hooked ever since. Im so glad they’re stepping outside the box and getting the recognition they’ve worked so hard for. 💗 so excited for the new era
Same here. They’ve helped me through some dark times.
Been a fan of Silent Planet for several years now, love their previous material, and this song blew me away completely. It’s so well done, incorporating sounds they’d never used before yet still making the song sound like themselves. I’ve already heard the song so many times since I liked it so much. Excited for whatever else they’ll be releasing.
This sound change was unexpected, but not surprising. The band members have been pretty vocal about their appreciation of Northlane, Soulkeeper, and other eclectic bands on the periphery on the metalcore genre. It makes sense that they'd eventually venture outwards in a similar way.
Personally, this is my favorite thing they've released since Everything Was Sound.
I got into Silent Plant right after Everything Was Sound. They've become my most-seen live band. While this song sounds way different than EWS-era Silent Planet, I still love it. For me, Garrett's lyrics have always been the MVP of the band. As long as it's got his heavy-hitting, poetic lyrics, I'm down with it... And, it's cool to hear him branching out and singing more, taking on full vocal duties.
This band is prooving more and more that they are top tier band to check out that knows how to both experiment and keep their original sound
I am so ready for the era of metal/electronic mashup. This style is fucking awesome. The production is stellar.
I need the new album fed directly into my veins
😂 💯
Loving the dark synthwave vibes on this track! SP can do no wrong IMHO!
Longtime SP fan and I love this song it’s different but they still managed to sound like themselves and that doesn’t happen often. This will be on repeat for sure.
This really does feel like it's taking off from "Terminal" off their last album.
Love it.
This song grew on me so much lately, I love it when bands experiment a bit
Love this new sound! I’d definitely be fine with hearing more of it.
This was so refreshing, I loved it! You said it best as them sticking to their artistic integrity while sounding diff
Has that Terminal vibe from last album but heavier. Love it!
Idk how they do it. They don’t write bad music. It’s a guarantee when a new Silent Planet song comes out It’ll be a banger.
literally so sick watching them expand like this. easily in my top 3 SP songs at the very least
First met these guys about ten years ago in TN. Immediately hit it off; And spent an evening with them in Atlanta a week later. Such great guys. I’ll never forget Thomas’s “I can still love my fucks and my shits and still love Jesus” speech!
Looking forward to pre-order cd & vinyl coming soon
This is awesome, love the vibe 🔥
Sounds like they got heavy influences from Deathpact and HEALTH. I dig it.
Dancing and head banging hell yeah. This band is sick and this is one of my favs off the new album along collider
Buster production on a synth beat is not something i knew i needed in my life, such an excellent song
Love Silent Planet - they’re so underrated
I really dig this sound. Looking forward to more new Slant Plant!
As a huge fan of Silent Planet i LOVED this. Already had it on repeat for hours, absolute banger!
I'm a sucker for this kind of Sound so I love this!🥳
Wow, so fucking good, love the experimentation. Don't know if you checked Voyagers album but I think it would be up your alley Birb, prog with some sleep token djent and 80s synthwave influence
Literally have been OBSESSED with this song since it dropped.
Just listened to the album and it’s great! It sounds like them but with lots of cool other genres mixed in!
We missed you ❤️
Have you ever heard of a band Candiria? They've mixed metal, jazz, hardcore, and hip hop since 1995. I dont know about their new stuff but their albums Surrealistic Madness, Beyond Reasonable Doubt, and Process of Self Develoment are all incredible. There was NOTHING ELSE like this back then.
This man’s hair and beard bring a happiness to my heart I can’t explain. And this song is my instant new favorite. Sorry Exit, Exist.
I banged my head through the table... damn good song
So so good. More
Such an incredibly bangin’ track. Definitely was out of the loop on Thomas’ departure though. He’ll definitely be missed. More than looking forward to what the band puts out in the future if this is any indicator of the sound they’re pursuing though.
this is what i want from them 9/10 just need more! already so catchy!
I dig it!
As a massive health fan, this song fucks
this is gonna hit super hard live
I loved it and it grows after multiple listens
This is fucking amazing holy shit
Been my fav band for years running now. For me, they don’t miss
Your second “dayyyuummm” had me cackling
Garret’s cleans reminded me of some crown the empire
This is a perfect demonstration of how less is more. Using the space in the chorus for those tasty synth swells and not having any screams on the first chorus really tie everything together for the rest of the track. Easily a high 9 for me and its gets more tasteful with each additional listen.
Mitchell did the wardrobe
As soon as I heard the guitar come in, I was sold ✅
I hate I got hit with an ad just before the riff hit. Absolutely unholy and criminal
I feel Slant Plant really need an acoustic album. There lyrics are so impressive id love a spoken word style session with Gar.
I love this song, it is sorta in the same vein for me as Neue Sicht from Void of Vision. Strong Cyperpunk, industrial, dark club vibes and metal put together with their own unique twists on them!
Definitely my favorite release in a minute
i recently decided to give this album a shot and regret that i slept on it for a year
Big starset vibes and I’m here for it
Awesome track!!!!! They never put a foot wrong.
I love how a computer monitor is your play button stand haha
❤❤❤❤
I listen to Silent Planet since "Everything Was Sound" and they do progress correctly. It's modern and it's still them. It's template for doing things correctly as a matter of fact. Love it ❤
The first band to make me shake ass to the reference of a traumatic van accident
I agree with you - I like Signal better, but this was still so sick
Some Veil of Maya vibes here...
Oh my oh my does that ever sound like the song "Abobination" from Northlane
This is the fist time I've ever liked a Silent Planet song front to back! I think it's amazing!
I just never could get into Thomas' vocals but I tried, with every release.
Thomas is no longer in the band so it’s possible you’ll get into them with the new album. Love this band so much.
@@aaronhansen5101 Yep, I hate to say it but I was excited to hear that he was leaving. 😬
My God
Silent Planet feat Miguel O'Haara = banger
Honestly, I've gotta say, I've become obsessed with this song.
The fact that this has my two favorite genres dark synth and metalcore. Say no more. Silent planet kills.
Reminds me of Oceana
If this song doesn’t make it into the next John Wick production, we riot
Got the northlane vibe from parts of the song
This is their best song imo. It’s so good.
They completely switched up the formula by making the chorus a breakdown. For some reason it just hits so much harder that way
I get terminal vibes from this with the slow build up. Glad they can make something different and still keep it fun
this is cool, but kinda weird to not give Northlane a shout here. Obsidian is only a year old and have been pushing this sound since Alien
Cyber planet 💪🏾
Cyberpunk2077 vibes 🌆🤘
Bro you mentioned bangers and tesseract but not Johnny booth!! New single is 🔥! Also, the album dropped today and it's amazing!
Not HLB either
@@airsicklowlandr I knew I was missing one. Thank you
The experimentation, imo, is SP trying to sound Northlane. Love it tho
bro he said the name of the song in the chrous!
This song is everything I wish Starset was
How the hell did they get into club aqua?
Northlane music scheme, i like it)
Still waiting for your reaction to the new Resolve song
Silent Planet
Northlane
ERRA
Invent Animate
Currents
Make this tour to happen!!😮
Very Health-y
Heavy Port Noir
Liked this more than anything by Sleep Token tbh.
Man that was a banger and exactly everything I like about Metalcore. The beginning vocals was like a wave of emotion over me, then the clean vocals over the fry before the breakdown might have been my favorite.
As always, Northlane paved the way for the generation to come. Everyone is watching and learning from the Australian kings
Very much bad omens 😊
I thought this ripped.
Riff is not particularly fresh (although it is groovy) but everything else about this track is killer.
