the raw tone finish will apparently wear off pretty quickly, but I do love the look! I think they make a lot of cool instruments and I'm glad you've had good experiences with them.
Oh and yes a short scale bass it’s perfect for me. I blame on one type of genre from Caribbean to jazz. And I think the Kiesel would be perfect for me.
thanks for the demo and review man, great playing and great sounding bass! how has this held up for you over the last year or so? Recording- and live-wise? Any hangups? Thinking of grabbing one with the same configuration (at least electronically).
@@dephrase9927 im a guitarist mainly so i don't play it as much as i should, but it's been great for the whole time I've owned it, travelled 3000 km in a move too with no issues adjusting. No live shows with it yet
I was thinking about buying this nice bass but I want a 32 inch scale. I think Kiesel should make a 32 inch scale specially for a 5 string bass, 30 inch is too short for 5 strings.
Sounds like it plays as nice as I’d expect for the brand! Nice playing pal!
Great review, thanks!Comparing that bass now to the Ibanez multi-scale 5 string (30”-32”) Love the tone on this one, the Ibanez sounds kind of nasal.
Love it man. Sounds and looks great.

You've turned your bass into a very versatile instrument
I really liked this bass when you let me try it!
Yeah its good haha =]
Hands down best review of the Kiesel headless I’ve seen. I’m really interested in the Zeus five string. New demonstration gives high encouragement.👍🏽

@@nickcormier appreciate the insight!
I found a 30” dual humbucker active 5 string on reverb for $1200. Can’t wait for it to get here.

Yes killer low B. The only time I think you need extended scale for a B is something like metal
