    I heard somebody from law enforcement say that once all the technology has been allowed that EV's will become a danger to steal. Even if you get into the car and get it started and are able to drive away, the owner will be able to let the car know that it has been stolen. It will then lock the doors and deliver itself to the nearest police station while informing the station that a car thief is on his/her way and an approximate arrival time.

      Right now the owner can track their Tesla so if you do manage to steal one, it’ll be hard to hide for long.

    I got my Model3 LR at the end of June. A couple months ago, I was on a two lane highway, following a large truck. He was going about 45mph on a 55mph road. There are only a couple locations on this road where you have an opportunity to pass a vehicle, and as luck would have it, at the best location, the road was clear. I punched it, and zipped around him, then looked at the speedometer. I was at 96. In the nearly 50 years I've been driving, I've never come close to 86, much less 96. I immediately took my foot off the pedal, and the regenerative braking took me down to a safe speed in time to make the approaching curve in the road, without having to touch the brake pedal. Teslas are amazing.

    It's funny how Tesla detractors will mention fart mode as though to slam it, yet every review we see people playing with it and laughing. Can you really disparage something that obviously brings delight? Yes, I know it's stupid. That's what's funny about it. What's wrong with a little humor?

      Teslas have three features that sell for the heart: Fart mode, light show/christmas mode/rainbow road and giving it any color you like.
      And three features why i bought them for my company and my brain: They are cheaper than every fossil i can compare them with, they are safer than eany car i can compare them with, they work better and with less problems than every other vehicle.
      And why did i actually buy? Because they are faster than everone else...

    My female friends say they love driving my Tesla because it’s just easy. So on female test drives, it’s great great to reenforce words like easy and effortless but also don’t forget safer. No going to filling stations after dark means no dealing with unsafe situations. Plug in every night on your way in the door and it’s never an issue.

The amount of processing that goes on in a Tesla is astounding. A little discussed aspect of Tesla is their 5-10 year lead in software and associated hardware systems in their cars.

    • @Resist4
      @Resist4 Год назад +1

      I bought the Acceleration Boost a few years ago for my Model 3 Long Range, but wouldn't say it was a "noticeable" improvement. The car only gains half a second in the 0-60mph time. However, it is worth the $2k considering to gain that half a second with an ICE vehicle would cost around $5k and weeks being worked on, and the car would take a mpg hit with normal driving. With the Performance Boost we got it in like 10 minutes over the air and it doesn't effect our normal driving mileage.
      One thing to note is that you might not recover the cost of it if your car is hit and totaled, so check with your insurance company. The same goes for FSD.

    You guys do a great job with these videos. There is so much crap data out there on EVs and Tesla in general.
    Legacy auto has gone from laughing at Tesla to being totally scared. Now that they are scared there is a ton of money at play. Tesla does not buy tv or radio commercials that fund news media. But legacy auto does. Connect the dots.
