    Our yoga instructor died from Covid before vaccines were available. Breathwork is a major part of our practice and is considered to have all sorts of health benefits. He'd held a small gathering at his home, and I'd opted out, as it didn't seem wise. Nearly everyone came down with the virus, a couple had to be hospitalized. He meant well--RIP. While I subscribe to natural health practices, I strike a balance when it comes to pandemics. Got vaxxed as soon as I was eligible.

      Perhaps if the anti-vaxxers were treated like the victims of the Holocaust, they would change their minds. They could then be rounded up, quarantined in "ghettos" and forced to wear a badge with a red circle with a line drawn across it over a picture of a syringe. Eventually, they would be euthanized if they refused to be vaccinated after spending years in an anti-vaxxer camp being beaten, starved and tortured with unethical medical experiments. Almost forgot. When you enter the camp, everyone's head will be shaved and they will wear prison uniforms. Those who die from illness, torture, starvation will be dumped into a large hole in the ground and buried in mass graves. Those who are euthanized will have all their gold teeth removed as well. Lamp shades would be made of the tattooed skin of dead people. It is an insult to everyone who was murdered during the Holocaust to equate it with a vaccine mandate during a pandemic. People who make this comparison should have their tongues cut off.

    As a youngster in the 50s, before we had vaccines for these, here is what I had to suffer through: measles, mumps, rubella and chicken pox. My mother had polio. After the vaccines, no one had to go through those awful illnesses. Am I vaccinated today? You bet I am. I am so grateful . I have had the vaccines for polio, diphtheria, pertussis, pneumonia, hepatitis, Tetanus, shingles, COVID, HPV, and every year the flu vaccine.

I remember getting my polio vaccine while some adults around me suffered having polio effects and wore braces or used wheelchairs. We don't have collective responsibility in america. This country was founded on PERSONAL freedom. You need to be responsible only for yourself. If you want community responsibility then you should open your home to all the homeless in your community. When someone in your community gets sick you and your neighbors should pay for medical bills.

    • @howinooz
      @howinooz 2 года назад +64

      @@ken-nf2eg What are you talking about? We do have collective responsibility in America. We've had it for a long time. What do you think Social Security is? Everyone's contributing so that when people get old they don't have to eat cat food. What do you think Medicare/Medicaid is? It's a pool of money that the government manages so old people don't just die in the street. What do you think insurance regulations are about? So that when you get sick, Blue Cross can't just be like 'Thanks for the dough man!'. What do you think a government is? It's an organization founded to set up rules so that everyone lives by an agreed set of rules. Our greatest triumphs in this country are when the people demonstrated collective responsibility: World War 2 was when all Americans pulled together to defeat an existential evil. Even in our day-to-day lives, in our neighborhoods, we rely on each neighbor to cut their grass and take care of their homes, not just because it looks nice, but because it affects everyone else. Nobody can say "Forget the grass man. I wanna live free!" The neighbors would be like "It's called being neighborly as your house effects our houses and their value." We all have collective responsibility all the time. It's not just PERSONAL responsibility. This country was founded on Life, Liberty, and the Right to Own Property IN THAT ORDER. Life supersedes your right to PERSONAL liberty. That's the collective responsibility. It's in the Constitution if you actually read it and pay attention to what it says.
