- Sky News host Paul Murray slams Prime Minister Anthony Albanese for blaming “emotion” for his ‘No More! National Rally Against Violence march’ debacle.
“We have spoken for a few days now about the prime minister sending a woman into tears after she had organised a rally against domestic violence,” Mr Murray said.
“You know that the prime minister’s people have run around and tried to get everyone to look at the film and somehow it absolves him of what you can see as the reaction of the organiser who called him a liar.
“I have said many times before that I think what we have seen in his behaviour, since and on that day tells us about his true character.
“Rather than saying sorry, to the lady involved, instead he went for one of the worst tropes when you disagree with women, to blame emotion.”

His face displays a lack of empathy and it often looks like he wants to say just do as I say without question, with an undertone of superior attitude that oozes out of every fiber of his being, you would think he has inherited a kingdom and needs to remember the people that put him there ARE watching, many of who are also the product of broken homes or single parent families who are ACUTELY aware of the extreme personality disorders the can result from difficult family dynamics, it is not the responsibility of the Australian people to validate him, or if it was the case that he was overly loved that all the world must do that or he just doesn't understand then he needs to learn how to be in the wider world and out of his self important bubble because it will make him out of touch, Australian society is not a prize he has won for being a good boy/son and he needs to learn to share. He seems to have some issues that color his perspective on those who dont agree with him, if he had some empathy it would be overwhelming to call the PM a liar on national TV, its your station and her respect for it that maybe caused her tears not you personally as most of Australia are conservative on that kind of level and we are watching our kids slowly loose respect for office, rank parents etc and they are not stupid they can see it in a weak leader, in their language it is eeewwww.

I'm a woman and I can see that, that woman acted ridiculous. She invited him to speak, he said he may not be able to at short notice, changed his mind as he realised he should as the PM, then she changed her mind out of spite and claims she passed the decision onto the audience whether or not he could speak (obviously there was a confusing miscommunication - as he was invited to speak initially), he spoke, and she cried for no reason, and later claimed he 'took over' by speaking. And then she complained on the media, that the event was posted on social media in a positive light. That is positive promotion of the event and the cause. I don't understand that woman's logic. It is a good thing he spoke publicly about this issue and that it was posted on social media. Women need men to speak up for women publicly about this cause, to other men, and who better than the PM. Of course the PM was confused by this behaviour. I'm confused by her behaviour. This woman isn't helping the cause or the event by behaving like this. The focus should be on the issue and making the event successful, not unnecessary confusing drama. I'm not the PM's fan but I can see and hear this woman was wrong and behaved like a child in a school yard, on this instance. I applaud this woman for doing something practical to make change but her attitude and behaviour has been ridiculous and unnecessary which doesn't help the cause and event. She needs to focus on the end-goal, what she is trying to achieve, not petty confusing nonsense.
