I'd say ERRA was probably the tipping point for me getting into heavy music. I heard about them through something Dance Gavin Dance related and Drift just blew my mind.

@@sarcasm4371 Alan Rigdon is great but much overrated. Erra as a band is better than they were even during Augment. I love augment but it is what it is. They're much more mature and flexible now with their music. And their covers are really experimental

I’ve listened to technical bands for 20 years and the only ones who come close to his talent is Protest the Hero (Kazi) and Between the Buried and Me.
