The comments on here are disgusting, yes she was an addict but she didn't chose to be. Yall really dont understand how addictions work do you?
I imagine it’s because things like this go some way to glorifying drug use.
Her live performances were almost always poor at best, because she was high as a kite.
Yes her voice was great but that was mostly done in the recording studios where they could edit out the tremors and missed notes.
The fact that one of her most famous songs is about refusing to go to rehab, I mean really, what message did that send out to the youth?
who cares good riddance I say.
She was sick. Its not a shame to have an adicction. its a shame dont help and more use the sickness of somebody to judge that person. The respectful persons dont do that. And the lyrics of a song are lyrics, not a message to the youth. You write first for you, especially in jazz and blues, where there are all kind of dramas and miseries in the lyrics and I hope nobody would be worried about what is the messege. And the education is to give resources to the people so they can think by themselves, in the moment that that education depends from a lyric, a poem, a book, a painting, you can say that never was any education in first place
@@Ssaidak Obviously you SHOULD judge an addict. People are still responsible for their own actions. Not everyone is a victim.
@@Ssaidak She wasn’t sick, she was an addict. Being an addict isn’t an illness and it’s stupid when people say this! If you put two people on a desert island with enough food and water to survive, one person who’s addicted to smack and the other has stage 4 bowl cancer, guess which one will be alive in a years time? A drug addiction is not an illness!
And, people were trying to help her all the time but she refused. If she was my daughter I would have dragged her kicking and screaming and locked her up for a month, then I would never have left her side! As for her boyfriend, he wouldn’t have been allowed within 50 miles of her. That’s how you sort that problem out!
Before you decide you’re going to pretend you know more than me, I’ve been an addict, it’s not an illness, it’s a mindset. Theres obviously the physical side of addiction too, when you’re going cold turkey and your bodies pulsing with something similar to intense electric shocks, fever, weakness, shakes, and vomit but that’s still doesn’t make it an illness, it’s just because you’re giving up something your body has got used to……….if you’ve never been addicted then try giving up sugar for a month and you’ll experience what it’s sort of like.
After watching the movie Back to black, my concern is and l ask, do we have a good pillar system to help people like Amy to recover from the past traumas and to protect their dignity. She was born to be a star, but not to be used from the giants to earn money. Poor Amy , rest in peace. This movie must be shown in P.S.D's lessons in school. Moreover it is a big lesson to us all. What a shame to the authorities all over the world. Keep shining Amy where ever you are. Malta.❤
We miss you Amy ❤
at least she went out while really high
She was off drugs for 3 years before her death stop trying to make out she was bad@@redbeard7376
I m a troll, a yob, a piss head, but I will admit Amy Winehouse was talented, had guts and it was a loss. Despite the rich seam of jokes that she posed
She d be tge kinda girlfriend i d have wanted. It was a loss. Hoo, shit: I had mates who stomped Blake out.
Kaddish Amy
Maybe it's just too soon. But it feels like seeing someone make a biopic about your friend. We all knew Amy too well for us to feel any dramatized portrayal of her is anywhere near accurate
You've said it in one.
Amy Winehouse ❤
BACK TO BLACK 🖤
We only said goodbye with words 😢❤
Love it ❤
0:35 Frank's Album Cover Recreation!!!!! ✨✨🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻 I hope that they show the complete recreated album cover of Frank And Back To Black by Marisa Abela
Rehab 😍😍😍
Jack O'Connell is in this ok count me in
Looks amazing!
I want people to hear my voice ❤
This should never see the light of day. Love Amy and this film feels like an insult.
I don’t know that I’ll be sold on this…..No disrespect to the effort of all the cast and crew etc but If you’ve been a fan of Amy since ‘Frank’ and followed her after to the sad end of her life, acting and glamorising is the antithesis to who Amy was. She just wanted to sing man. This feels disjointed
I just don't get the point if these biopics other than to make money and make actors/actresses famous off the backs of already famous people. If you really want to know who Amy Winehouse was, watch the 2015 documentary "Amy", it won a friggin academy award. Or just listen to her music. Theyre trying to make me watch this and i say no,no,no!
Personally I love these. Even watch the Eras tour and the Milli Vanilli story. Wish there would be a Prince movie too and lots of others. They were too big names to just forget about them..they do deserve to be remembered more often. I'm happily watching these Real stories instead of some Netflix crap.
@@foreignmoleculeI too love movies on famous people. It gives you more of an insight into the backgrounds of their lives that you don't get to see, including documentaries.
😊😊😊😊
@@foreignmolecule AMY 2015, if you haven't found it, goes for about 4 hours on Blu-Ray, is perfection, so much archival footage, not Netflix crap at all...I'm worried about the music being reinterpreted by Nick Cave. RAYE, the english performer would have been perfect for this, if they HAD to make it. It's like Montage of Heck is the perfect documentary for Kurt Cobain which is why I hope they don't do a biopic on him...
Urghhh, another redundant biopic... 🙄
Nooooo pierdan su tiempo
FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION: AMY DAWSON (PRINCESS OF HOLLYWOOD) FOR BEST ACTRESS OSCAR 4 AMY WINEHOUSE!!!! ❤❤❤👑👑👑
So we’re gonna watch some glorified love story sh*t instead of the narcissistic, or should I say psychopathic abuse of a vulnerable girl by her boyfriend/so called husband, which is what really happened in the first place…okay then.
her family and friends have had input on this so i very much doubt blake will be shown positively
@@taylorswifttheerastour13 positive or not, it should be the truth. There are lots of dirt that he put her through, besides drugs and such…all that brainwashing and abuse, now they have a chance to reveal them. It shouldn’t be wasted in some lovey-dovey flick for all i care!
@@taylorswifttheerastour13her friends didn’t want the movie to be this extreme to begin with, they bashed her father for doing this and back off of the project
This seems so exploitive. It just turns me off. At least the soundtrack will be good
Still. I dont think the proper research was not done. For this movie. There is a video, home made, of Amy Winehouse getting her back doors smashed in. I ve checked and it ain t in the movie. What a load of crap.
I never rated Amy or her music. So don’t matter to me. Seems like a lot of her songs she sang she should have payed attention to. Should have gone to rehab, I’m no good, back to black, love is a loosing game, just be friends. If she only listened.
Why do you waste time commenting then? Why did you watch the trailer? Trust me, Amy Winehouse's musical legacy is secure, regardless of whether YOU rate her or not.
Someone still getting rich off this junkie
She was off drugs for 3 years
@@GddjdhdhduDhdhfhfh ok who is making money off the dead alcoholic mr expert
Wow why so rude
Acting mood
Acting vibes
Her legacy was substance use and nonsense. Why are we pretending she had some meaningful life.
Wow why so rude she was an incredibly talented singer and songwriter
@@sannegodijn301she was an addict that never impacted the world in any way.
In her prime, she was one of the best neo-jazz vocalists the world has seen. Tony Bennett said so himself. Your opinion is narrow-minded and misguided.
Her legacy was one of the finest collection of songs put together by a young British artist in the last 50 years. What will yours be? An ill-founded superiority complex doth not a legacy make...
@@simonrydings1342 Interesting take. Her legacy was the production of some of the worst songs ever created, aside from the hilarious song "Rehab" which is comedic gold following her demise. As far as my legacy, will my legacy be more than some horrible songs and a demise of my own doing through weakness and impulsivity? You got me there! I won't have he same outcome, simp..
Amy Winehouse my favourite singer and movie is very good 👍🏻👌 with life Amy winehouse with Husband 😍😍♥️♥️♥️
@nagalezi , interesting
