Driving 4 mid range Pioneer and Sony speakers and a 12" Sub.... Balanced (NOT boomy), fed by a Dragonfly Cobalt DAC.... And.... DAAAAAAAMNNN! I've loved the original since I first heard it decades a go, heard many 'Lives', all sorts... But this little beauty... Hits the spot...! The visuals as well... A starry time lapse or few... And was there a tiny flash of an eagle up there by those cliffs? Freaking awesome! 👌 😎🇬🇧

The original work was on a cassette tape in my Walkman as I backpacked across Europe in the late 80s, and has always brought to mind the immigrant parents of my childhood friends, who travelled from war torn Europe in search of a better life in Australia. So for me, a very moving piece of music. I will always love it.

Mine too. It was the soundtrack to my 1982... big Sennheiser headphones out of a shoulder-strapped Panasonics 'boom box'. Very uncool... but the sound was massive like no Walkman could ever do. White Eagle for me was a like a 'sci-fi' soundtrack that turned 1982 in 2082; a mix of robotic beats and soaring memorable melodies, such as this one. I'm glad there are so many of us who love this music. And yes, this video works so well with the music... beautiful images.

Ce renouveau de Tangerine Dream est très respectueux de la grande période! sur ce titre magnifique, souvent repris, le son de la mélodie à l'origine joué sur le PPG était exceptionnel sur l'original, mais on ne le retrouve jamais ensuite, ici c'est plus proche mais pas encore ça .... mais bon c'est juste un avis personnel d'un fan. I am a german man and I know both tracks since around 35 years. And I love both versions: "Das Mädchen auf der Treppe" or "Girl on the stairs" and "White eagle".
Kann das Double Album Particles nirgends finden...eigentlich schade,denn jeder Track ist genial...wunderschön live gespielt,als wäre ich in einer Zeitmaschine zurückgekehrt in die späten Siebziger,frühen Achziger ! Und das Video drückt mir nochmehr Tränen aus den Augenwinkeln,aber es sind ja Freudentränen mit einem zufriedenen Grinsen im Gesicht...!!! Mehr davon und ich hebe ab,hahaha ;)

Heute kämpft jeder gegen jeden, alle gegen alle, ganz wie die Herren an der Spitze der Nahrungskette es sich wünschen...die Haie der Gesellschaft Leben sehr gut von unserer Dummheit, ich wehre mich aber so gut es geht! Mir fehlen die alten Zeiten auch, ich nehme sie mit mir, damit wir sie nicht ganz vergessen.
