Failed to open OVF descriptor.
Try to download latest one and import.
It seems like they no longer use the OVF to install like this anymore, they're using ISO instead. How do I have it installed on VM workstations now? Please help.
Yes, you are correct, OVF has been removed. Only ISO files are available. I will make the OVF file available tomorrow, and can be downloaded
@@ciscobulls Yeah, but I don't see the download OVF options on their home page.
@@prophet_zxz I have the OVF file in my local drive. I will upload it on Google drive tomorrow for you.
@@ciscobulls thanks man, I appreciate it

The IP that Pops on my Vm can't be accessed, what could be the problem
You mean, you are talking about the eve-ng ip that usually appears right after bootup process.
Just perform basic test (i.e ping) for that IP
We can sit for a time. Plz share bridge
@@ciscobulls i have the same probleme , the ip that pops in my Vm is fe80 i could not acces the eveng system
login username and password ? for me its showing incorrect
Login credentials for GUI: username - admin, password - eve
Login credentials for CLI: username - root, password - eve
if the issue remain same.
Verify the root space using the command
dh -f
Add another HDD (20G) in VM and reload the VM machine.
Login again, it will surely fix the issue.
sir how safe is to give privilege access to virmware.
It's depend on you. it's a lab / prod /UAT
@@ciscobulls it's for lab sir.

Download the OVF file form the offical website
EVE-NG OVF - Google Mirror
drive.google.com/uc?id=1cd_RBtVPGP4oUqXgh7mLoTs3jRdihaME&export=download
and simply import the file into VM, and you are done.. Later on you can import the images as your requirement.
@@ciscobulls
Thanks, actually I’m done with that step
I was looking to create the node and tried to choose from the drag and drop Palo Alto firewall but it’s not letting me to choose
Not sure in between am I missing anything? Can you please advise
@@KS-rx1we , Got your point, please download the PaloAlto image and import in the VM. I had imported Fortinet FW image in VM. Same method you can use for Palo.
