Caruso needs to come back, the Nets are looking scary. Last year they were one of the worst defenses in the league, now they're up to 10th (top half of the league) whilst still retaining KD, Harden and Kyrie....SCARY. If it wasn't COVID season it would have been over for the league, Kyrie being a part time player is the wedge that's keeping the dam from bursting.
I’ve seen him play in person - he has gears other players don’t. Dad at the barbecue, he has a blow by and its not speed per se, he shifts and moved by at like a vintage caprice classic!
The Nets needs to play against a full strength opponents in order to play to its max potential. Against understrength/depleted roster opponents they will just simply take it easy and got their asses whopped
I don’t personally think that’s equal to missing all 3 of their power forwards & Caruso but it is what it is. These losses happen to good teams. Nets got humiliated against Portland without Dame & CJ but only a fool would think it means much in the grand scheme.

the Bulls went back to being a very average team, without Caruso their defense is just very average, that's a statement win by the Nets
They were also missing all three strings of their PF's & 3/4 of their best defenders. Tough loss either way but they happen.
