- What all of you have been waiting for… all £12,000+ cashbuilders!!
Series 1 Episode 8: James scores £12,000
Series 2 Episode 1: Les scores £14,000
Series 2 Episode 4: Gareth scores £12,000
Series 2 Episode 9: Dave scores £12,000
Series 2 Episode 12: Christine scores £12,000
Series 2 Episode 27: Ross scores £13,000
Series 4 Episode 21: Stu scores £12,000
Series 4 Episode 22: Stuart scores £12,000
Series 4 Episode 26: Nick scores £12,000
Fun fact, only 2 of them managed to outrun a chaser in their final chase episodes.
Gareth from S2 (4,750) and Stuart from S4 (5,500).
As for survivors in their head to head rounds, all of them understandably decided to stick with their cashbuilder amounts. However, only 4 managed to survive
Gareth (S2), Christine (S2), Stu (S4) and Stuart (S4).
Nick from S4 was a Lazarus player but got caught after setting 15 steps in his final chase.
Minor detail but I noticed that all those who scored 12k in their cashbuilders are Seat 2 players hmm.
8:00 this guy had unreal charisma in the first half, he had potential to match Les' £14,000
And a lot of these people got caught, either the questions are made harder for better players or the cashbuilders mean very little to how good they are are the table
2:33 is this the highest score somebody’s gotten?
UK yes, no about worldwide.
@@mario8894what about worldwide
@@Iq-.- I know late reply but 16 correct answers (in Spain: 16,000€)
8:37 kWh stands for "kilowatt hours", NOT "kilowatts per hour". The former is an amount of energy; the latter would be something like the rate of change of power consumption.
Someone’s GCSE Physics has finally come in handy haha. Despite the fact I’m still learning Physics, I wouldn’t be surprised if I got that wrong because I would’ve looked for three separate words - K.W.H. Would you say these sets of questions were quite easy?
No one gets these scores anymore, swear most of these are from years ago
Exactly, the highest nowadays people get are £7,000 or £8,000
Brexit ?
@@qasimhussain1678the most I can ever get is £4,000 in a Cashbuilder, some sets of questions just whizz by and I never properly understand the questions because they’re going too fast (I mean in 2023, not in 2011). Any ideas I do get right is just being lucky. How do you tend to perform in cashbuilders?
I saw £10,000 2 days ago and no-one has scored £12,000+ since Season 4
If you’re from the US, just play the US version.
The rewards they offer there for getting the same questions right are much higher.
Could you do £11,000 Cashbuilders (Series 5-onwards)? Series 5 because, Martin is only contestant in that series to score a cash builder of £11,000!
Collin got a cashbuilder of £11,000
@@ROBLOXPLAYER2011JOSHUA Collin was in series 12, not 5.
The most I’ve seen in a full episode video is 11k. Off the top of my head, Julie in series 3, Anna in series 4, and John in series 7.
Do you possibly have any old Eggheads clips, I’m talking from around 2005-2008 era?
I’m afraid not.
@@gameshowclips ok no worries. So hard to find sadly 😢😢
@@gameshowclipshow many have gotten through
@ITVgameshows oh brilliant! I’m really hoping to find some episodes that aren’t already on RUclips from Eggehads around the 2004, 2005 and 2006 and 2007 era, so many of them aren’t available anywhere. And if possible the second series of Are you an Egghead if you have any of those. Thankyou 😃
Also, if possible could you find Kevin Ashmans semi final performance on Mastermind back in 1995 , where he set the record score 0f 41 points. So hard to find thanks
Les almost got 15k
He could've gotten £16,000
Otis took 15k as a high offer after getting 1k in the cash builder. And he was just as close to adding the 15k to the bank as the guy at 6:44 his 13k.
I think early on in the show, £12,000 was the high offer
If you’re referring to the offers in the head-to-heads, yeah they used to be quite low compared to what we see nowadays.
First
I have to say I'm shocked at the lack of diversity and inclusion there is in this upload. 🤔
huh?
