Great showing from both the team and Darragh. One of the best teams I've seen. I'm also surprised that Darragh wasn't going as fast as I thought he would to try to catch the team, but given that mistakes would make it impossible, that makes sense.
There was a time at which Darragh was leading the chart for average correct answers per minute over a two-minute final chase. Key word being "correct" - many other chasers would have their correct answers offset by incorrect ones when going at a faster pace.
It would be fascinating to see how Shaun Williamson would do as a chaser. I reckon without even putting any revision in he could beat 99 percent of single players and, given some time, probably over 50 percent of three- and four-person teams.
I understand from a news story recently that he actually almost did. Yes, he almost became a chaser. He tried out after the people on the show were amazed by him and his quizzing, but I think Shaun decided not to do it, and that's why he isn't.
@@willknight13nowdays the chase features harder questions and bradley asking the questions a lot slower, 24 in series 16 would be almost impossible to pull off. Back in the earlier series 24 was deemed as ‘slightly impressive’
6:31 “We don’t really care” IM DEAD
Also Darragh with the cheese at the end again lmao
So funny how they didn’t even stop the clock 😂

He got through 28 questions in total (including the CHEESE at the end), which in Series 15 standards, is quite fast.

6:49 Ah yes, my favorite album…… *Cheese*
Karl Pilkington's "Egg"
I'd love for Barry from EastEnders to be become a chaser.
Seriously though, Shaun is an incredibly likeable and funny guy.
I remember asking for this one to be uploaded. Glad to see its back.

I don't know why Shaun never became a chaser he's been a top quizzer for years.

He would’ve been good as a macho boss character
When Shaun Wallace retires, he would be the best replacement
Great team. This is one of my fav final chases. Thanks for sharing.
Shaun is a beast
He competed at the British and world quiz championships , he’s a serious quizzer. Probably better than darragh
@@Louis-o6ethink he was top 50 in the UK at one point
If there’s less pause, that could also get to 28, tied with the two ones back those days.
Potentially the last 25 we ever see on the show :(
Why last ever lol?

Shaun’s brain in on roids 🔥🔥🔥
W NTA Winners.
So good 👏
Is this the same David who once along with his partner only scored 7 in a final chase?
No, that was David Haye.
