His voice is magical its perfect how? how? can he have such a perfect voice and use it so effectively Thom is the best ever ive never seen a better live performer or songwriter he's the definition of perfection
two words man, Jeff and Buckley. when i hear him sing I truly believe that no one has ever sung so beautifully or ever will. somehow kurt cobain gets cred simply for dying yet Jeff was a supreme talent and still is slept on.
I think something else to consider with thom is the huge 'tone' factor of his voice. most lovers of his voice will probably appreciate the tone quality.
yeah i think i like this more than the album version. The best version in the snippet from meeting people is easy, where he is along one stage in rehersal.
@mazrio128 Are you kidding? Van Morrison is one of a kind. His voice is unmistakable. Thom Yorke doesn't even sing coherently. He mumbles in every single one of his songs.
Rufus Wainwright and Thom sound very similar. I thought the "Across the Universe" that is on the I Am Sam soundtrack was Thom singing [then I promptly put the CD back on the shelf when I realised my mistake.]
Mike Patton is the first person to come to mind. The things he can do with his voice still amaze me. Cornell in his prime was better, Al Green owns Yorke in many ways, Van Morrison, Billy Joel. Many others.
Thom channeling Jeff. And before you hate on me, that's reality. Fuck. Imagine Jeff and Thom hangin out and dabbling in some sort of genius coagulation. Yeah, shit I dream of, dream.
This is one of the best songs of HTTT, but I think it goes maybe a bit too high for Thom when doing it live. In studio it sounds awesome, but live it's not as clean, in some way. And it hasn't just to do with the e-string on Jonnys tele.
@foolsgoldsoma Please don't ever include Rufus and/or Belamy in the same sentence as Jeff and Thom. C'mon! F@ck tryin to please folk. reality is Jeff and Thom...then the rest. Especially Rufus, who worshiped Jeff while at Sin-E.
i love the art on Jonny's tele, Radiohead will always be my favorite band
Thom ma naprawde fantastyczny głos!
To jest więcej niż genialne...
Radiohead to mój ulubiony zespół,był,jest i będzie!

Haha at the end Thom is all like "yeeah let's do the next one!!!"
brilliant.
preciosa cancion de mis tantisimas favorita de RADIOHEAD

This might actually be better than the original it's haunting with just thom
Mike Patton is the first person to come to mind. The things he can do with his voice still amaze me. Cornell in his prime was better, Al Green owns Yorke in many ways, Van Morrison, Billy Joel. Many others.
I love Johnny's guitar, it sounds just so good. even if it's a little out of tune
@foolsgoldsoma You got them all my man :D
That would be Thom's guitar, and it sounds in tune to me. Either way, great performance.
The high e on the tele's have a tendency to do that.
Jonny : it's mine and I want it back
this song reminds me of California dreaming...
Thom channeling Jeff. And before you hate on me, that's reality. Fuck. Imagine Jeff and Thom hangin out and dabbling in some sort of genius coagulation. Yeah, shit I dream of, dream.
But here you can sing along with Thom and do the low part. Haha.

@oglioko i really want some lace sensors for my tele project i am doing but i cant afford them :(
In fact, this is Johnny's telecaster, just watch any radiohead live performance. And the high E is a little flat, even if it's nothing to worrie
elliott smith???
Please do not mention other bands or singers here
This is Radiohead ,
Only Radiohead :)
Eh, I wouldn't go that far (There are a few who are far better IMO)) but he is really fucking amazing.
