This game wipes the floor with any other alien or aliens game!! Absolutely superb environments, textures and details. As much as I love this game, just cant return to it, my nerves cant take the onslaught
I swear, that first play-through gave me PTSD. Took me awhile to play it again, but once I did... Oh wow! It's so much better the second, third, fourth and fifth times around (especially on the hardest mode). You become way more confident and willing to explore, or just mess around with the xenomorph. One of my favorite things to do now, is to follow the alien around and "touch it's tail". I also don't frantically save the first moment I see a save point either.... Not like that first playthrough. I'll collect my scraps and blueprints first, and then save... Although, even on my 5th playthough, I can say that San Cristobal Medical is easily the hardest run in the whole game (with that distant next save point, but, this time I collected everything and only died twice).
In my 30 years of gaming I can't think of any other game where I immediately went for the hardest difficulty available on my first playthrough. I wanted the full Alien experience! These days though, I have more fun watching noobs play for the first time. I've probably watched two dozen full playthroughs.
Once again you've hit it out of the park. This is a must see for any Alien fanatic. Extended character and story details that just make the final moments of the Nostromo even more terrifying!! Well done.
Incredible work with this video. This is literally one of the best single player games of the last decade, and the best Alien game of all time. It's a love letter to the original film, and a damn work of art.
Having this loaded a day before my Bday it was truly a gift. It goes to show that this game was not only made well, including its DLC but overall it has been the BEST ALIEN game overall. Scary, emotional and just pure love for the franchise, which says a lot compared to the crappy last 2 films that were made and insulted the entire franchise. This arrangement managed to include the Airlock sequence on the original script and in the novelization. If Dan O'Bannon had been alive to see his creation on this game as well, I know he would had just love the dedication an awesome fan has for the story entirely.

I wish I could play this... I would buy it! Well, I never had these Playstations... I have been always appealed to PC games! CONGRATULATIONS!!!!
Man, this is a fantastic piece of work! I'm a hard and fast Alien fan - still play AI in VR even today and your take is ingenious as it's well produced.
i'd say the character facial design is between 90 and 95% accurate and voice to mouth movements are around 95% , but overall this video gives a really strong movie vibe and i'd give it a 9.5 out of 10

Absolutely superb. Such a tribute to the original spirit of the first film. For me, the perfect antidote to the convoluted dross thats marred this franchise after Aliens. Love the period specific touches to the audio and sound effects too. Great work.
Could you imagine if they really sharpened this footage up to PS5 standard and more atmospheric lighting. The character cut scene animation etc. this could go straight into the Alien directors cut edition on blu ray. I love the Ripley commentary cuts. This is bloody brilliant.

At 3:49 , I *love* how there are buttons labeled "PADME" and "SHAKTI." 🤣 By any chance, is that a reference to the characters from Star Wars, eps. 1 to 3? At 16:40 , one correction to Brett's dialogue. The acid burnt a hole through *two* decks, not three. The M - Class starfreighters like the Nostromo have 3 decks, not 4. So if the acid had burned through 3 decks, it would've caused decompression and loss of their air! That's why Engineer Dennis Parker said "We don't dare kill it." Overall, this was very well done. My thanks to all involved. I wonder if any of the other Nostromo crew had any kids that stories could be based on. A Tim Dallas? A Veronica Lambert? 😉 ... Something for storytellers to think about.

the thing that bothered me about alien isolation was for some reason there are all these crates and boxes from the nostromo scattered about the chair room on the alien ship. while in the movie the three only carried light supplies and no boxes
Alien scared the crap out of me. Since a kid I’m still haunted by the scene where Dallas meets his end. The way the Xenomorph reaches out at him terrified me. For years as a child I’d check under my bed and my closet for the xeno before sleeping, like me checking would help me anyway if it actually as in there cause it’d just kill me lol
Nice stuff. Hate to see that ditigrade legged human alien everytime i see it, and they could have made it bigger. However its behaviour on its two all the time, when he stops to feel and listen its surroundings, etc..., huge achievement from CA. The ability for it to wait and ambush us behind crates and other stuff would have sky-rocketed the already high quality experience of Athis game.

Knowing what I know now I cannot help but wonder if that Purina symbol that is everywhere was a primitive mind mapping technology from the late 70s. The audience is likely to notice the symbol, our spooky government trying early brain mapping experiments was using it as a high contrast focal point.
I don't quite understand the scene at around 30:30, where Parker found Ash and struck him down. Ash in this game scene just stood there and doing nothing to Ripley, I am wondering why the game didn't reproduce the scene from the original movie, where we are in first-person view of Parker to begin with, and run to them when heard the noise of fighting, finally found out that Ash is holding a folded book trying to stick into Ripley's mouth, then we control Parker to use the ranch to strike Ash down. I don't think that is very difficult to reproduce the exact scene from the movie.
lol at the end the message Ripley played was "Only way to kill was destroy the ship" far as i recall, the damn alien wasnt on the ship when it was destroyed, lol it found its way on the escape ship that Ripley was on and she blast into space? lol did she lie to Amanda?

Its on PC too mate, get it you'll love it and hate it in equal measures. Long bursts are a nono as your nerves will be shredded.

This game's environment is timeless, and this fan game movie is excellent.
Always loved how Parker can rig up three or four 'incinerator units' in just twenty minutes.
