This game wipes the floor with any other alien or aliens game!! Absolutely superb environments, textures and details. As much as I love this game, just cant return to it, my nerves cant take the onslaught
I swear, that first play-through gave me PTSD. Took me awhile to play it again, but once I did... Oh wow! It's so much better the second, third, fourth and fifth times around (especially on the hardest mode). You become way more confident and willing to explore, or just mess around with the xenomorph. One of my favorite things to do now, is to follow the alien around and "touch it's tail". I also don't frantically save the first moment I see a save point either.... Not like that first playthrough. I'll collect my scraps and blueprints first, and then save... Although, even on my 5th playthough, I can say that San Cristobal Medical is easily the hardest run in the whole game (with that distant next save point, but, this time I collected everything and only died twice).
In my 30 years of gaming I can't think of any other game where I immediately went for the hardest difficulty available on my first playthrough. I wanted the full Alien experience! These days though, I have more fun watching noobs play for the first time. I've probably watched two dozen full playthroughs.

Incredible work with this video. This is literally one of the best single player games of the last decade, and the best Alien game of all time. It's a love letter to the original film, and a damn work of art.
Having this loaded a day before my Bday it was truly a gift. It goes to show that this game was not only made well, including its DLC but overall it has been the BEST ALIEN game overall. Scary, emotional and just pure love for the franchise, which says a lot compared to the crappy last 2 films that were made and insulted the entire franchise. This arrangement managed to include the Airlock sequence on the original script and in the novelization. If Dan O'Bannon had been alive to see his creation on this game as well, I know he would had just love the dedication an awesome fan has for the story entirely.

I had 2 moments in Alien Isolation that scared me so bad that my chest started to hurt and had to take a break . 1 . I was in a vent trying to avoid the xeno and i hear it going up in the vents ...this asshole dropped down to the other side of the vent that i was in ,went in and came behind me while i was trying to exit the vent ..all this happen in a few seconds and 2 . I was in the med lab and got the key card and i heard it walking to the room that i was in so i hid under a table ...as soon as it got in the room ..it got on all 4 so fast and looked exactly where i was ..i had no time to react at all XDDD . I had other encounters with it but none of them was as scary as the 2 i just mentioned ...it scared me so bad XDDD
I'm not sure if you're going to tackle Aliens Fireteam but I loved your Colonial Marines presentation and all your other Alien content. If anyone can think of a way to cinematically present Fireteam you would be the one. Awesome job as always!
This is beautiful....I'm a huge Alien fan and this is a dream come true. Alien Isolation still looks remarkable and I wish they released an updated remastered version with Raytracing and better Antialiasing for PS5
i'd say the character facial design is between 90 and 95% accurate and voice to mouth movements are around 95% , but overall this video gives a really strong movie vibe and i'd give it a 9.5 out of 10
the thing that bothered me about alien isolation was for some reason there are all these crates and boxes from the nostromo scattered about the chair room on the alien ship. while in the movie the three only carried light supplies and no boxes
Could you imagine if they really sharpened this footage up to PS5 standard and more atmospheric lighting. The character cut scene animation etc. this could go straight into the Alien directors cut edition on blu ray. I love the Ripley commentary cuts. This is bloody brilliant.

Absolutely superb. Such a tribute to the original spirit of the first film. For me, the perfect antidote to the convoluted dross thats marred this franchise after Aliens. Love the period specific touches to the audio and sound effects too. Great work.

While I did enjoy watching this, I could never play that part of the game. Not because it would be too scary, but, I detest playing a game where I know that no matter what you do, you always end up at the same ending. I don't mind seeing others play it however, and I could not help laughing my ass off when you had a big dude like the actor Yaphet Kotto (RIP), squeeze himself into one of those small cabinets to hide, just way too funny.
At 3:49 , I *love* how there are buttons labeled "PADME" and "SHAKTI." 🤣 By any chance, is that a reference to the characters from Star Wars, eps. 1 to 3? At 16:40 , one correction to Brett's dialogue. The acid burnt a hole through *two* decks, not three. The M - Class starfreighters like the Nostromo have 3 decks, not 4. So if the acid had burned through 3 decks, it would've caused decompression and loss of their air! That's why Engineer Dennis Parker said "We don't dare kill it." Overall, this was very well done. My thanks to all involved. I wonder if any of the other Nostromo crew had any kids that stories could be based on. A Tim Dallas? A Veronica Lambert? 😉 ... Something for storytellers to think about.
Nice stuff. Hate to see that ditigrade legged human alien everytime i see it, and they could have made it bigger. However its behaviour on its two all the time, when he stops to feel and listen its surroundings, etc..., huge achievement from CA. The ability for it to wait and ambush us behind crates and other stuff would have sky-rocketed the already high quality experience of Athis game.

I don't quite understand the scene at around 30:30, where Parker found Ash and struck him down. Ash in this game scene just stood there and doing nothing to Ripley, I am wondering why the game didn't reproduce the scene from the original movie, where we are in first-person view of Parker to begin with, and run to them when heard the noise of fighting, finally found out that Ash is holding a folded book trying to stick into Ripley's mouth, then we control Parker to use the ranch to strike Ash down. I don't think that is very difficult to reproduce the exact scene from the movie.

The story is good, and the game for the most part is brilliant, but the indestructible Alien was pure BS. Glad that Russian Player found a way in the game to actually kill it. Thing is, it should have been killable in the first place. Oh, and the ending was bad (not of this one here, but the main game) - the Aliens wouldn't have been gathered outside of the Station in a vacuum, concentrating on Ripley. With all those explosions, alarms, and everything else going on, that's the absolute last place they would be. Not to mention "somehow" getting on the other ship...that's just cliche BS.
That game sucked yet the graphics are awesome and the storyline is awesome as well but damn can't kill the alien WTF no wonder why I threw that game out
Knowing what I know now I cannot help but wonder if that Purina symbol that is everywhere was a primitive mind mapping technology from the late 70s. The audience is likely to notice the symbol, our spooky government trying early brain mapping experiments was using it as a high contrast focal point.
This is amazing, and probably one of the best DLC packs too a game, not only did we get Isolation but got to play the original Alien too, game needs a sequel, thank you for this upload. I just wish Aliens Fire Team Elite had more cutscenes for you to work with. 💜

Its on PC too mate, get it you'll love it and hate it in equal measures. Long bursts are a nono as your nerves will be shredded.

That game is a masterpiece on all aspects: graphics, voice acting, story...etc... It is one, if not the best horror games ever made.

This sucks! Not you (great job) but the game. They changed so much from the movie. And I hate the werewolf walking alien. It's not scary.
Yes, these dlc are made in a hurry and bad in terms of the plot. But I tried to make a good video out of this, adding scenes made by me.
