Yeah I’m gonna be honest Izuku is just kind of a terrible person in this AU, and it honestly feels like one of those AUs where literally everything bends to the will of the protagonist so as not to disrupt the power fantasy. Like, he beats Monoma within an inch of his life just because he was insulting him, and somehow Monoma gets hit with serious reprimands while Izuku gets off scot-free despite nearly killing someone. Then, he goes and burns down a whole building over a grudge, possibly killing anyone unfortunate enough to be left inside, people who most likely had nothing to do with him, and that’s not even mentioning how he might be putting people’s livelyhood’s in danger by putting them out of a job, but noooo he won’t have to face any consequences for that either because the police won’t suspect him due to plot convenience. I’m sorry, but how are we supposed to root for someone who never faces consequences for their own screwups? Because it really just feels like a poorly disguised power fantasy where the protagonist is never allowed to lose. Ever. Stakes be damned.
I can understand your reasoning Izuku would had been a nice and calm person but in this AU. He went through trauma,bullying and verbally and physical abuse. They always doubted him because he was powerless. Even all might said that he had no chance of being a hero. When that all started to build up, he finally had enough, the last straw was when his mom died. He was angry and lost the most important person in his life. The one that taught him many things. He then dropped his nice personality and full on went vengeful. He decided to become a vigilante to continue his mom’s legacy and to save innocent people on the streets, but he had a different method. Similar to the hero killer stain. Izuku would kill many villains to save the citizens. Izuku was partially insane, vengeful and twisted. He was finally able to let his anger out after holding it in for 14 years. Eventually he was known for being the bloodiest vigilante due to having a high kill count for the villains he killed. And soon Izuku was captured after he tried to flee a scene and was taken for questioning. They then transferred him to U.A so he could try it out and see what heroes are like. And about when monoma was insulting him it wasn’t really giving izuku a reaction because it would take a while to finally piss him off. But when monoma brought up his mom and talked smacked about her. It ended up provoking Izuku and that’s what let him to almost kill monoma. He burns down ALDERA because that was the school that treated him like trash including the teachers and he was mad about the school being there so he burns it down and it was at night so nobody wasn’t in there. But Izuku is getting help by aizawa that took him in after he learned that he had no where to go and aizawa and the other staff are trying to work on altering Izuku’s personality to try and make it more calmer and during hero classes. They make him use double batons instead of double knifes so that he is less likely to injure someone. But they let him carry a knife in his pocket ONLY for emergencies.

You’d think there would be more serious reprimands for beating someone within an inch of their life, at a hero school no less. The fact that several of the other students were cheering over one of their classmates nearly dying makes them kinda look like terrible people. Also the fact that the teachers give a really harsh punishment to the guy who was already suffering life threatening injuries, yet the guy who GAVE him said injuries got off scot-free is just a little ridiculous.

Monoma’s teacher also got in trouble as well because he didn’t punish monoma for the other stuff he did in the past before the incident went down when Izuku started to beat up monoma. Also this vigilante AU was supposed to be one short video but people kept asking me to make more and I started to rush and create a plot like I was not even planning on continuing this but people wanted more videos on it. And also Bakugo had also done the same to Izuku in middle school and he would hurt him with explosions and the teachers never stopped him and would get mad at Izuku Even tho HE would have injuries that were from Bakugo and everyone in that class also picked on Izuku. The teachers didn’t mess with Bakugo’s record so that he would have a clean record to get into U.A and it worked because it didn’t show any history of Bakugo using his quirk ILLEGALLY multiple times and harassing a student for being powerless. But because Izuku doesn’t have a quirk. Most of the laws that involve illegal quirk usage can’t apply to him. And everyone in my AU thinks that the quirkless people are just elderly people from the previous generations. But if Izuku had a quirk and used it illegally, he would had been arrested for illegal quirk usage. But having no quirk, they weren’t sure what to do with him because he was saving innocents but murdering villains at the same time and doing it without a quirk. Izuku was the reason why the crime rate was going down dramatically 📉

I don’t think any reasonable person would be cheering on the murder of one of their classmates, douche behavior or not. Also while it does suck that in this AU Bakugo also got off scot-free for doing terrible things, two wrongs don’t make a right, and a school with the purpose of training people to save lives really should not be letting a student off the hook for almost killing another student, especially considering they were more than happy to hit Monoma with 60 days of ISS (despite the guy already having life threatening injuries, which would have been more than enough to encourage him not to continue). It just kinda feels like all of the characters are biased in Izuku’s favor because he’s the protagonist. Sorry if I’m being kind of harsh though, I do realize it would probably be difficult to try and put together a plot from scratch, especially if you weren’t initially planning to continue it.
