I'd say Hellium took the win. Specific details aside (which I believe there's a tie overall), Hellium showed some fresh af beats full of variety and a hell of a counter in the end. Inertia did show some crazy stuff as well(and I mean it was REALLY crazy stuff, but not as much as hellium in my opinion), but the whole track was too repetitive
but his counter was predictable

but the sound quality, and the complexity... i think inertia win this
and the counter for me didn't work, the inward bass of inertia is more clean and more impressive
@@bbxSnake I agree with you that intertia's will always be better than anyone else's but I think on the scale of inward bass it was a very good effort. I think Helium's actual counter was his great variety and technicality overal

As much as I like the skill from these guys, this one was underwhelming compared to their GBB battle and compared to some of the other BBU competitors. Not taking anything away from both of their beatboxing, I mean the whole video as a package.

This was incredibly difficult to judge for me... For the first time, I can't decide after just a single listen.
I'm a sucker for dnb, so helium takes this for me. Also just cause it surprised me more. Good level-headed reaction.

Helium took this for me.
I spent all the way through Inertias round waiting for something to wow me. It never came.
Inertia using Reckless again against Helium was a great battle technique, but it was unoriginal. I wanted something new. Inertia has leveled up since GBB, but without the wow factor of his style being new to our ears, it's lost a lot of its impact.
Helium also used a lot of his own style, but it's so perfect. Every percussive sound is like a drum machine. Its clean, it's precise and it's consistent. You can see the years he has put into his art. In terms of taking advantage of their potential, Helium is just far ahead of Inertia in my opinion.

Originality: both, there's nothing i need to explain
Video: Helium. I think Inertias video is not that impressive. Sure, the effects are cool but I just think that Heliums picture looked way cleaner and more like a music video, some effects on Inertias Video were a bit too much for my taste
Audio: both. Both were very well mixed and especially Heliums detailed sounds like whistles or his inward thing with his tongue came through beautifully(no sexual). Though on Inertias side the bass is really satisfying the ears with its frequencies and all that shit.
complexity: Helium. He showed a lot more, his sounds were way cleaner and defined and even his bass was on one level with Inertia. So the reason why i give this to Helium is the variety and level of his different sounds. He showed a lot but didnt mess up the structure and theres not a lot of beatboxer who can do that.
enjoyment: both, because on the one hand Inertias is sick but too long and repetitive and on the other hand Helium focused more on showing than composong but that doesn't changr that he did a great job at structuring his round
Pitch and timing: i might have to give it to helium because I heard some flow misstakes on Inertias side, i will clarify it for myself by watching it multiple times.
i will give it to both for now tho
battle: my first thought was Helium but Inertias whole thing is basically a battle, so i give it to both, because Inertias Lines were sick and Helium only had 2 but the fronting with beatbox was clearly better on Heliums side

for me until now it is 7-5 for Helium
Im gonna leave the extra points out for now because my result is clear but if I would give one I would give it to helium for the video idea with the boss battle health bar thing, which is also a great battle move and another aspect there is his complexity and variety of flows, his sound choice and not to forget how he did a great job on structuring such a complex style.
So for me it would be

Then if i add the extra point

if Inertia wins crowd voting, (which I think he is going to win)

so my final result is

EDIT: i rewatched both only looking for flow and timing misstakes
I found 1 on Heliums and 7 on Inertia. The majority of Inertias were minor misstakes you dont really hear while casually listening to it because you can still bop to it.
But he slipped off-beat a lot in his first zipper part. He was a half tick to early on every 2nd of his beat comebacks and he got faster during the part(that could also be a style of composing to increase the intensity so im not gonna take that in. However, for me the constant timing misstakes in his first zipper part are enough to give the timing point to helium
so my final result for now is
Helium 9
Inertia 5
Complexity goes to both Man!!

What about the fact that Chezame has more subscribers for Inertia's video ? I think they are making this as sort of balance between subs and time of release.

this is the only battle that you predicted incorrectly, AND the most contested result in the entire contest. i think that says a lot about your ability to fairly accurately judge a beatbox routine (at least within the specific parameters that the judging categories are in, but I think that you would apply that level of skill persistently to any sort of beatbox judging that you did 😌)
is it only me that in the middle of inertia's round it sounded similar to dropical's round?

6-5 I'd give it to Helium even tho its rlly close
Both of them had their strengths and weaknesses in this round. Too close to call but to me it didn't live up to the hype knowing what these guys are capable of. Dropical still has the best round of top 16 so far and hasn't been dethroned for me with Den being close second.

@@ARCANODESINE I respect it. I felt like Hiss was missing the whole part where at its core it's still a battle. Musical beatbox is my favourite style but I want a little bit of grit in battles even as friendly jabs idk
@@defiantlydefiant i totally respect you opinion too, at the end what matters the most is what makes us happy. What you said is basically why i put him there, love the fact that he ignored the battle aspect as it, imo, holds back the true growth of beatbox.
Can't call it, but I will say I didn't enjoy this round as much as the others nor was I super blown away even despite the technicality of both. KI's went on too long for me too.
