i don't think anyone spared cell, vegeta just thought he was way above cell no matter what, and frieza was cut in half when goku wanted him to get off planet so i don't think it really counts. but broly was definitively above the both of them so there wasn't much they could do especially when he kept getting stronger to the point where a fusion between goku and vegeta had to go blue

People don't seem to realize that Gogeta tried to purify Broly but he had no evil in him reinforcing what Goku said earlier to Broly about how he didn't think he was actually a bad guy so it was just a normal damage attack and when Broly survived and powered up even more Gogeta realized he needed to kill Broly because there was no other way to save him and time was running out. And Broly getting his pupils back didn't mean much because he was still in a wild destructive state with his pupils so thats why Gogeta just kept going with the Kamehameha
Gogeta done gave Broly the Thanos to Hulk treatment 😂😂!

I think Gogeta was happy when Broly survived the Stardust breaker. Stardust Breaker is a purification move, so if you are evil you will die. If you are good, you won't die, which is why Gogeta held back at the end of the fight. He was just trying to incapacitate him because he has a good heart.
Vegito plays with his food too much. So most times, he doesn't finish any opponent off. Gogeta makes quick work with the damage because he got the time limit. Then seals the deal.
