yea, I should just build it quickly and be done with it. How is your yz125 coming together? you guys are doing great job on the channel, would be fun to do colab with you.
good night friends, assembly and preparation of you and first without comment. professional work. congratulations my friends always continue to teach us.
Just a warning I've had 2 of those radiator caps, I've had one fail and I know 5 or 6 people that have had them fail. Also when I tried the tusk brake pads my brakes were not as good as the oem pads. But regardless This will be An Awesome Build!! Keep it up!
That Tusk temp cap got me the first time also. I realized there is another 1/2" of turn left on the cap, after it seems like its tightened all the way. I love it though, i can see it while riding slow stuff to check temp quickly
Have you considered powder coating some of the stock parts? From what I’ve seen on other builds, a little powder coating really goes a long way in giving older bikes a fresh modern look.
Hey rado cut that very bottom fin off the rear caliper protector your tire will have a hard time fitting past the larger chain slider and that fin I actually broke mounting point for that fin because when I went to put the tire on it caught that fin if not jus be very careful putting it on
@@dirtniron cheers budd,, this is an awesome channel, just ordered a t-shirt of ur page... Going back through ur videos i see u had a wr 450,, im looking to get back into the sport for fun with my mates, not ridden a dirt bike for years, only road. would u say a wr250r woukd be a good bike to start on,, im looking at an 06/07 plate.. appreciate ur feedback cheers 😉👍
Mannn.. i cant waitt to see it. I can only wish to have money to do something like this one day. Also, i think you should do a give away...? Right? Only seems fair lol!
Good work mate, Radiator guards? did you mention those? Also try some PHDS mounts, really makes a difference for me off road and can use any bar. (be fly with your Fly bar) Rest looks pretty mint., look forward to the building process. 🤙
The phds mounts are only compatible with their top triple clamp for the yz unfortunately. I believe to run the phds mount on a yz you would need to drill out the diameter of the bolt hole on the top triple. That may be possible 🤷♂️
thanks bro! California is the worst place for supermoto, you cant make anything street legal anymore, unless it came street legal from factory.. plus I really enjoy dirt.. maybe later.. thanks for suggestion
@@dirtniron Absolutely! This bike deserves it. You won't be disappointed. Magura hymec 2, plus new oem clutch hub and plates allow for a much plusher feel in the tight stuff. Inspect the existing hub splines for wear with a set of calipers. Further into the rabbit hole, a new forged basket would close it out. It's unreal how much tighter tolerances between the friction and drive plates matters. The slightest bit if slop will absolutely change the dynamic of how the clutch engages. Love your channel🤟
Wow, I'd call this project BLUE BALZ, because that's how most of us would be after spending that kind of money, wifey would have our nutz in a sling. Lol. That's where I'm lucky my wife rides her dirtbike more then I ride mine. That's gonna be 1 dialed new bike when it's done. Anti vibration handlebar inserts, Anti vibration handlebar clamps Those are the things that would be super important to my dream parts list. But over all I think ya nailed it. Now I'm going riding with Jessica.
I sent your e mail a video of my wife's progress, she climbed a killer hill yesterday. Poor lil XR100 was doing its job and working overtime. If anyone else wants to see her video just click on my channel. Once again the camera totally takes away from the reality of the hills steepness
This YZ is going to look awesome when it’s finished thanks for doing this build for us that is a lot of parts
thanks bro, I really enjoy build videos and the feedback from you guys!
Like Christmas for a grown up with all them goodies. Bike is gonna look and ride sweet, looking forward to the build vids.
Happy holidays! lol thanks brother, glad you like it!
Man that bike is going to look great. Ready to see it all together.
Thanks Scott, I cant wait to start assembly, its the best part of the build. ;)
True blue and back in black I'm with you on this build! thumbs up bro. lets go! get Jay on board for this one.
thanks Brian, glad you like it! Jay is on board from the beginning ;)
Hurry up and put it together ✊🏻✊🏻✊🏻

Wow dude, I’m ready to see this thing complete! Love the black/blue color combos on the YZ. Your inspiring my friend!
thanks Daniel, glad you like color combo we went for!

Cannot wait to see it come together!
thanks Aaron, me too! hope I can find time to finish it soon
I can’t wait to see this one come together with ride reviews. Nice job Rado. Take care.
thanks brother, glad you like it! take care too!
Have you considered powder coating some of the stock parts? From what I’ve seen on other builds, a little powder coating really goes a long way in giving older bikes a fresh modern look.
i did cerakoting on many stock parts, looks even better than powder coat
That’d be cool to see a cr250 off-road build but this is awesome too 😎
Maybe one day!
Sounds good Rado I’ll be waiting! 🤣😝
That’s going to be awesome! I am so proud you. You are growing your channel and coming up with some outstanding content. Keep up the good work!
thanks a lot James, appreciate you support and glad you like the build so far!
That bike is gonna look sick!
thanks Pat!
like Christmas morning x100
It's going to be a good looking build !
Stay blessed brother 🤙🏾🤙🏾
thanks Henry, will do my best!
You got me hooked ..again 😜 Using all those great parts, no doubt you're going to come out with an amazing dirt bike.
Hope so! thanks bro

cool Nicolas, hope I wont disappoint ;)
@@dirtniron cheers from argentina🇦🇷
Only thing I would do differently is I would change clutch to a hydraulic set up, still gonna be an amazing bike
thanks Barry, I considered the Magura kit, but then after some research and thinking decided to keep the cable
I’m just a bit of a weakling when it comes to the clutch!!! I’ve only ridden an old yz so maybe the cable needed replacing.
So el mejor 🏍
Que dios te bendiga

Need some beer in that fridge 👍
:)
Looks great Rado 🙏👍
thanks Rich! Glad you like it
Can you please test a STIC metering block on the YZ250 when it is built!
Yes i will, curious myself 👍

Oh yess been waiting a while for this
cool Jason, hope I wont keep you waiting for much longer

Thanks for the tip! I am using some guards that came with the bike.. it has aftermarket radiators that are weird size..
Dirt N Iron cool dude, gonna be a great replacement to the KTM300
Good mornigh my friend
Morning
Vid good as usual. But you should get into Supermoto for the Street also. It’s like riding a Dirt Bike on the Street.
thanks bro! California is the worst place for supermoto, you cant make anything street legal anymore, unless it came street legal from factory.. plus I really enjoy dirt.. maybe later.. thanks for suggestion
cant wait!!! its gonna be awesome🤟
thanks bro!
She's going to look sweet 😎👌
thanks bro!
Cant wait to see it..😍😍
me too Marcelino! ;)
Just wondering what colour the fuel tank is thinking of getting the same one on my yz250
It will be awsome.
thanks bro, hopefully!
Where's the billet gas cap? :) Can't wait to see it all together
man!! i forgot the cap.. thats 10hp less right there ;)
glad you like it Vince !
@@dirtniron 😂
Im waiting
hope I wont keep you waiting for too long ;)
No hydraulic clutch? I definitely would have added a hydraulic clutch to this build. It's not too late!!
I looked into it and decided to go with cable clutch.. do you have one on your bike?

What year of bike are you doing to rebuild? Im going to do the same think with my yz 250 1996 :)
mine is 2007, good luck with your project!

Is the build going to be one video or broken down episodes
broken down in several episodes but I will do one big timelapse at the end
Very nice are you running mousse?

What gearing did you go with?
