A Bronx Tale is HANDS DOWN 1 of the greatest Mob movies of all time!
That's your opinion and a good one, but there's a couple of arguments that can be made against that.
No way not even close to Goodfellas , Casino , Godfather 1 , GF 2 , Donnie Brasco then it goes are behind all these movies.
Come on guy. Quit being a fan boy
It’s one of my favorites HOWEVER I feel like its more of a coming of age movie with a mob background then an actual mob/Gangster movie but it whatever it’s one of the best movies
Agree man Bronx tales is ONE of the greatest mob movies amongst many.
Calling it a mob movie is a dis service in my opinion. It's the best coming of age, wholesome, touching, eye opening kind of movie. It truly transcends the mob genre. Comparing it to Goodfellas is like apples and peaches.
So it's really useless when people argue about it's position in the mob movie rankings.
I respect this man so much. He said it takes 30 seconds to take a photo with a fan for a lifetime memory
Bumped into Chaz at the car wash once in bedford, most celebrities avoid any type of interaction with others, we made eye contact and he said Hey how ya doin. And we both went our way. Down to earth guy.
Did he have 5 fingers but only use 3? 😂
I could listen to Chazz for hours, sounds like a Genuine stand up guy
Adam can go back home and get his shine box
yea he seems like a really chill guy
Stop interrupting the man. Take a leaf from Patrick’s book, sit silent listen and then ask the questions in the right moment . Awesome podcasts but this is an issue.
Got to agree. Almost made me stop listening. Wonder if PBD is aware of this?
It happens every episode. The entire show would be better and more watchable without Adam
If your talking about the guy Gerade I agree with you.
I always liked Mr. Palminteri, but after watching this podcast, I have a new found respect for him. He sounds like real genuine person, God bless.
I think a couple good tips for the co-hosts would be:
1. Do at least a little research on the guest; and
2. Let them finish a thought while speaking before interrupting
I know Chazz said it jokingly/politely, but his saying "What am I here for?" when someone is in disbelief about A Bronx Tale starting off as a one-man show (a story he has told numerous times and is basically part of the origin story of his fame) was...kind of a hint: You weren't prepared for this interview.
As was, "Well, let me finish the story." Again, polite, but he had to say it because they were speaking so much that it took the conversation off the rails in the middle of the GUEST's story. It's not that these conversations don't have a place in a podcast, but it really should be AFTER the guest.
Back in the day my cousin had a sign shop in Queens one day someone came in asking if we can make old neon signs of beer companies we said yes so they gave us the prints. Well it turns out that the signs I made wound up being for the move The Bronx Tale, they were hung in the windows of the bar where Sunny hung out. That’s my contribution to the movie.
How freaking cool is that
From now on when I see the movie I'll be sure to look for those signs what's your name so I can act to my family that I knew you haha

This is a great upbeat interview, great relief from current political climate
Man, I choked up when his parents presented him with the note cards. What a great story teller. Thank you guys. Great show.
I wish this one was on the Valuetainment channel with just Patrick
Chazz is a deep guy. Hes old school and i love that about him. Thanks for coming on PBD chazz
Every minute of this conversation is fantastic.
I wish those 2 others guys didn’t make any comments .
Best podcast yet this guy has so much wisdom I've been glued to this for 3 straight nights !!! Brilliant
This podcast is great but it would be greater if those other two individuals weren’t in it just Patrick and chazz 🙄
Met Chazz after a Broadway show. Was a great guy and very down to Earth. Glad he is still a regular guy.
Thanks PBD and the crew, I never heard of bronx tale until yesterday. I saw this last night, I was blown away with the film. Bronx tale is one of the greatest films i have ever seen in my life.10/10 5 stars its really a masterpiece. Who ever has not watch, go watch now its on RUclips for free.
What a story-teller!! Amazing
I think Mr. Palminteri is a brilliant actor that can do a wide variety of roles and such a great man to boot.
One of my favourite movies that is so under rated is Oscar. Mr. Palminteri did such a great job along with all the others in there.
My hat off to you sir.
The co- hosts did not have the makings of varsity athletes.
Would be really cool if PBD was hired to act as a criminal Middle-eastern oil dealer for a Italian Mafia movie set in the early 1980's.
Lmfao I could see it.
I think its one of his goals
One of the best movies I've seen in my life. Excellent job Chad.
Sorry I mean "CHAZZ"
This podcast was full of wisdom and gems. Taken a lot from this
Sonny: There's only 3 things you can do in the joint: lift weights, play cards, or get in trouble.🤣
Chazz Palminteri is an absolute legend! Thank you for having him on!
He literally posed for pictures with me and friends! Great person
Pat a heavyweight in the game cos he really listens and tries to understand , so dope
Fantastic! PBD Podcast outdid themselves with this amazing interview with Chazz Palminteri. Well done!
That one dude stole the calling all the divorce lawyers in the state thing from the soprano that was a huge story arch in s5
Exactly what I was thinking lol.....people try and take credit for that often I've noticed
Another great guest…and another podcast ruined by those 2 jagoffs constantly cutting off Chaz.
Patrick. You’re amazing. Why have those two you??? Show would be 10 times better without them.
Agreed they ruin the show massively
Chazz is an OG and PBD’s side kicks are embarrassing. Seriously…
Yes so annoying they r
This is probably the best interview ever. I’ll more then likely watch it a couple more times while taking notes. Thank you 🙏🏿
Okay, im going to rewatch A Bronx Tale
Such a wonderful episode with Chazz. He's a great storyteller and has a lovely demeanor.
@P.B.D➖ P0dcāst• Timing is important and I'm not in a position to invest in real estate right now but I'm definitely open to it.
@P.B.D➖ P0dcāst• Already a subscriber. :-)
@P.B.D➖ P0dcāst• I'm hesitant as you don't appear to be legit.
Thank you Chazz. A Bronx Tale. Changed my life, and I hope long enough to see the fruition of these life lessons.
This was one of my favorite episodes! I never knew A Bronx Tale was based on his life that’s incredible.
You guys are putting out such good content. Great job keep up the good work.
Patrick it’s 1:55Am Pst at nite & watched the movie w my wife’ and some family to see the interview again it gives me a different perspective it reminds me of before my dad past all the lessons he taught from hard work and being a mans man , I got to tell you one of the best interview hands down .
Chazz is the best, the story of the making of the bronxtale is a movie in itself
Many Great podcasts from PBD but this one with Mr Palminteri was "The Best."
I would recommend Adam and Gerard re-watch these podcast and have someone who is objective, critique them. They need to improve how they do podcast and on-air speaking in general.
good point
Especially Gerard, he’s a slouch and sits hunch back like bro sit up and be attentive, are you 8? Lol
Adam either thinks he's funny or he's just that much of a dumbass, some of the crap that he says to people is just cring.
Omgggg Loved this podcast. Thanks PBD
Love chaz....such a genuine gentleman
A Bronx Tale was filmed in Astoria, Queens! Happy to have walked the neighborhood with my Father!
Chazz is the definition of a stand up guy. “I won’t say his name.”
Sonny Red Indelicato
Hands down the best pbd poscast so far, chaz is an amazing guy, could listen to him all day, giving life lessons.
Such a great vivid storyteller. I felt as if I was in the room when he turned down the $1,000,000 deal.
Living for pleasure and not happiness..Chazz is something different, thank you Chazz for sharing this eye opening concept
Thank you Pat for another great podcast, keep up the good work
I'll be 48 this November and I've passed down the $20 you got off cheap wisdom to a few fella's younger than a few times thru out my life and it hit home each time i passed it down! 👊✌️👊
So many great lessons from this story wow
I think Chazz is humble enough to say he was happy Gandolfini got the part of Tony Soprano. It worked because Gandolfini was still relatively unknown and also that he fitted it so well. However Chazz would have been interesting in it.
One of the best podcasts I've enjoyed. Really loving it and I love the man
I’m waiting at the hospital for my lady to go into labor watching the PBD podcast
Wow,
Priorities right lmaoo
name your kid Chaz
Another great and insightful interview, Chazz's mindset and discipline is just aww inspiring! 👌🏾 👌🏾 👌🏾

GREAT EPISODE! Thanks for this Patrick 👏
Wow what a podcast. Didn't even feel like I was watching a podcast, felt like I was a fly in the wall listening to these amazing stories. Definitely need a part 2 soon!
I love Chaz P. He seems like a genuine guy, and he has experienced a lot of amazing things in his life.
Great stuff this morning, guys. Just listen to Chazz talk for a few minutes and you can tell he's the real deal.
What a podcast! It's getting better and better. Pat you made our day. Well done mate. Good job 👏👍👌🙌 🔥
This is the best podcast I have seen in a long time.
I can hear his story a thousand times and it never gets old.
Just stopped this interview and watched it. Wow a beautiful film.
Why can't it just be PBD and Chazz Palminteri. Adam and Gerard seem to ruin the podcast by Interrupting time and time again, let him finish speaking and then say what you have to say.
Totally agree. One on one, especially with a special guest.
Have been waiting for this!!! Got my tickets! Chazz Palminteri is a legend!!! His podcasts are great too! Chazz bring Sandy Blue Eyes!!
The whole divorce lawyer discussion came from the sopranos show. Where tony calls every divorce attorney so Carmela can’t get the good lawyers due to conflict of interest
whatever happened there
@@set1896 what do you mean ?
Love this interview !!
EPIC PODCAST BPD! ! ! Laughed the whole way!

Anything Mr Palminteri touches is amazing..This podcast was great..I didn't know anything of the back story so thank you for bringing it to light.Thought Good Will Hunting had somewhat a happened that way too.

Chazz is always entertaining.. !!
Yet another great podcast!
Great episode! I went and watched a Bronx tale because of this episode and WOW! What a great movie!
Chaz is a gem. Thank u sir.
ALWAYS an exceptional podcast!
Beautiful stories
Very impressive job guys! 😍
Bravo PBD. Top 3 funniest podcasts out there. Chazz was gold.
There’s a certain type of wiseguy that you’d give your life for. Not in the sense of doing things out of fear or loyalty, but that they’re so personable you wanna be in their presence at any cost. Sonny is a great example of that.
What an episode! Thank you!
Right they inspire action or the willingness to be there for them because they were there for you, the problem is most of those guys will use that against you to destroy yourself, people always talk about the big names in crime what about the mountain of men that were used and abused for so big names to even become
I am watching the Bronx tale right now. Pure art
Great question about the quote on Chaz's card Adam. And hearing a little bit about your family and your Dad's decisions turning your life in the opposite direction. Although I don't agree with you on some fundamental issues and having ragged on you in the past, seeing glimmers of your genuine self come through is quite welcoming and refreshing. Keep growing and learning from a business and career standpoint, but don't forget... you must be born again of the spirit of God.
Great show! Thanks
Great show today’s guys 👍🏾
Just an awesome podcast again, enjoy the last 2 with Michael and Chazz.
This was so fun
Thanks guys
