A small place with a population size of the neighborhood I grew up in in Milwaukee. That Southern town held convention for the meeting Detroit, Ohio, and New York mobsters and left--as its prison goes--a positive impression on a rich New York Wall Streeter raised on the tough streets of Bensonhurst. Lastly, this interview gives evidence to my proposition about NYC, Chicago, and San Francisco as the 3 largest financial meccas in the USA and that any mob families there infiltrating that financial field would be accumulating enormous wealth. How many people you have to divide that pie with is another matter. The more people the smaller the shares of that pie.

Romano states no mobsters would ever put La Cosa Nostra ahead of family, YET high ranking mobsters have stated/confessed to having facilitated prison sentences and even death of their own sons. And it's not preposterous to trace such an ideal back to the Ancient Romans. For example, a leader of a Roman legion, a Legate, ordered the execution of his own son for careless behavior during a military campaign, as he held the importance of Rome above his own blood.

Paused @ the 30:22 mark. Incredible interview thus far. I never heard of Morgantown, West Virginia. I just Googled the name up.
If it weren’t for the college like ten people would live in be Morgantown
@@noahmatthew6658 you have been to Morgantown?
@@brewcity2317 yeah it’s still a big drug distribution center to this day since it’s surrounded on every side by big cities within driving range. I also know two people who go to college there so I have spent weekends there
Very good job, Patrick. No one else could have stayed out of Sal Romano's way and still been in charge of the interview.
Yea, Mike, Patrick and my wife!
@@salvatoreromano7528 Now THAT'S funny!
Wow. The Giacalone’s. Tony Giacalone was the street boss of the Detroit mafia for over 40 years and like he said, Jackie “the kid” Giacalone has been the boss since longtime boss Jack Tocco passed away in 2014.
At times he sounds so much like the actor Richard Dreyfus it's incredible. Another great interview Patrick, thank you.
I saw this was an hour and 20 minutes and I thought, I’ll watch for a few minutes and see how it goes. An hour and 20 minutes later and I’m thinking, that felt like about 10 minutes. Lol
I loved listen to this man’s story! These mob guys are great story tellers
Best storyteller yet
Very nice of you, Liz!
What another amazing talk Pat. You are really a master of communication.
Compared to Vlad and his awful questions and interview skills Pat a master. He's the Mike Wallace of RUclips in my opinion but more likeable.
Incredible stories and helluva storyteller. One of the best interviews on PBD so far

Pat, PLEASE get Mikey Scars on. It will be one of your best mob interviews.
Amazing interview. EVERYONE please give this a thumbs up, for me personally it’s been a life changing interview. The amount of motivation I feel from some of Patrick’s interviews is simply unparalleled, and I sincerely want to thank PBD for making this possible. Just thank you. Please keep doing this, it touches the lives of regular people that may become more through your efforts.

Hey Chris, I should hire you to run my P.R, huh? Thanks, Bro.
Am I the only one who is patiently waiting for a Mikey Scars interview? That video would be a huge hit in my eyes.
Yup that would be a great interview man. Hopefully Pat pulls it off one day.
