- Henning Wehn:“I consider myself a train vigilante and enjoy clamping down on passengers who break my strict code of conduct.” Series 13 Episode 8. The guests are are are Jo Brand, Simon Day, Kiri Pritchard-McClean and Henning Wehn.
Henning clearly said "train". It seems they all heard what they were expecting to hear once the ears sent it to the brain. Train vigilante !!~!!!~!!
He definitely said “train” but the context made everyone interpret otherwise
Definitely a trained train vigilante
I heard train also
@@justcurious3514 He did indeed say train. There's no "ed" sound at the end. Don't know why everyone got that wrong. Maybe it was actually the context that made them think he said trained.
No shit.
Watch him. They will do it again!!!!
And they all forgot he's German, and nobody seems to have been to Germany. Telling each other off is a national sport.
I had no idea!
I think Jo Brand speaks German. She mentioned it in an episode of QI.
@@alextrivunovic644 I once learnt in an interview with her that one of her brothers is married to a German.
Wait.. which one is German?!
He stressed the word "vigilante" in the phrase "train vigilante", instead of the word "train", which is part of why it is heard as "trained vigilante".
i think our brains autocorrected train to trained... "train vigilante" aren't really words that would normally be put together 🤔
Ones like this are hard bc it's just what he considers himself to be, there's no factual events
Henning is a legend, surprised this one slipped under the radar!
Everyone who thought it was a lie clearly hasn't spent a lot of time in Germany 😂
Haha. So true.
That was my thought exactly. I'm German. I'm very anglophile and almost did emigrate to the UK as well at one point. And the moment he read the card I was like: "...yeah, he's German, that's what we do..."
Paradoxically I find that Germans on trains THINK they're vigilantes but are actually (as a group, not as individuals) far more antisocial than any other country I've lived in. Every person puts their bag on the seat next to them even when the train is full, drunk hooligans etc.
this one always irritates me because Henning definitely said "train" not "trained"
💯
I'm not a native English speaker and even I know he said train lmao
I think David Mitchell might be a wanker.
At the beginning I thought he said "trained".
That’s what I thought, too.
He's wearing the same clothes as last series but they're hanging off him.
No, he said Train.
He obliviously said "train". Whether or not you are "trained" is an objective fact, not a matter of opinion.
Is this a team captain beard edition?
I love this man! He is HILARIOUS!!!
He's brilliant 😁
I must say, Rob's got some pretty good beatboxing skills
A choo choo vigilante 😂😂😂😂😂
Was this in the mid 90's?
Not his best one, nowhere close.
Perhaps his slip down the side of the train was due to his escaping a confrontational situation?
In London you just have to learn to let it go on public transport as it is a lottery as to who you are talking to.
😂 1000th like for this video.
What is she talking about?? I always yell at people to be quite if they talk on the designated quiet carriage here in Australia...
i thought he said trained
I heard trained
why does bob have to interrupt
How can Bob interrupt when he is not even in this episode?
Do you mean Lee? If you do, then for attention is probably the answer. He is funny, but he does take other people's limelight sometimes. Bob Mortimer and Lee are alike, and are both very quick thinkers.
@@_J.F_ 😂
@@odd_shoes I think he means Rob.
Yes I did mean Lee. He's so quick, he probably doesn't realise that other people may have their own jokes lined up.
Rob,
Friendly advice. Do less. Do way, way, way less.
He’s been doing the show for more than a decade with the same format very successfully. He doesn’t need your feedback.
Necessary or not my opinion is mine to give. Your approval is not needed.
@@ericvanvlandren8987 your opinion is a bit silly though
It’s a silly show.
@@ericvanvlandren8987 silly to comment on it then
