      @@BottomLineUpFront thanks for replying, I have been looking at that lens as I currently have the 20-60 but would like something with a bit more zoom.

    What a great vid. You guys looked like you had so much fun. Good job with the coconut!. Makes me feel so proud of our paradise. I think we are a secret because many world globes and maps don't even have the Cook Islands (or even NZ) on it. Even today people don't realize Cook Islands is COVID-19 FREE because they don't know we exist.

      We think the Cook Islands are the most underrated islands in the whole South Pacific. Next weekend's episode is about our trip to Aitutaki - but you probably already know how beautiful that island is!!

      Tony, it was a truly awesome island - exactly what we were looking for in the South Pacific. Next weekend's episode is about a smaller island lagoon that is a quick flight from Rarotonga, and believe it or not, it was more of a paradise than anything we've shown up to this point. And you're so close, you can jet over to these places so easily - we're a bit jealous of your location, haha, since the South Pacific is kinda our favorite tropical destination now!

    Nice video! What grade do you use for the handheld shots? It's it a GoPro with a selfie?

    • @BottomLineUpFront
      @BottomLineUpFront  4 года назад +1

      We graded all of this footage starting with a Panasonic LUT called Fashion LoCon (free from their website) and the GoPro stuff (shot on the Fusion 360) is just graded from scratch (boost saturation and contrast a bit). We try to keep things simple! 😁

      @@BottomLineUpFront I just realized that the auto-correct made me sound like a newbie. I wanted to ask about the gear (not the grade). But you confirmed already it's a gopro (and probably on a stabilizer - karmagrip maybe?) and I already know that you're shooting with the Panasonic s1h (which is a bit heavy for travel videos imo but produces gorgeous images in your hands). Anyway, thank you for your response. I try to keep things simple myself too: just shoot as in log (or low saturation / noise) and then apply a nice LUT.
      Keep up those videos, they're very informative and nice to watch. You guys do a great job.
