The Cooks are great in January, check this out -> cookislandspocketguide.com/rarotonga-the-cook-islands-weather-in-january/ and when it comes to hiking in Aitutaki, there are some fun short walks. Check out #3 here -> cookislandspocketguide.com/sightseeing-on-aitutaki-top-10-sights-on-aitutaki/
I'm going to be exploring your web site. This is just what I've been looking for. My goal is to one day have property in the Cooks. Or the surrounding area.
Good question! Raro will give you some great forest hikes. Mitiaro would have a lot of fun variety. Aitutaki would give you the best snorkelling. How's that? We have more for you on cookislandspocketguide.com so you can learn about each locations.
@@NZPocketGuide thanks for the reply and all the great content. I have looking at some of the NZ posts as well! I have travelled there several times, thinking of moving to the South Island one day, lol.

Hi there! Rarotonga is a fantastic destination with plenty to offer. I can;t come up with tips especiallyfor a 62 yo but here are some tips for your trip: Accommodation: Consider staying at a beachfront bungalow or a resort that caters to mature travelers for a peaceful experience. Transportation: Renting a car or scooter is a great way to explore the island at your own pace. Activities: Enjoy snorkeling, lagoon cruises, and cultural village tours. Don't miss the Te Vara Nui Village show for an authentic experience. Dining: Try local eateries for delicious Cook Islands cuisine, including fresh seafood and tropical fruits. Relaxation: Take advantage of spa services and enjoy the tranquil beaches for some relaxation. Health & Safety: Make sure to have travel insurance, stay hydrated, and use sun protection. Tips: Check our cookislandspocketguide.com we pour our heart and soul into it and there is soooooo much info there for you. Which one is best for stand up paddling?
The Muri lagoon is probably the best spot. Check this out -> cookislandspocketguide.com/where-to-stay-on-rarotonga-the-best-rarotonga-accommodations/
Take off the glasses.
Thanks for the feedback 😉
