You can tell what really cracks Ryan up isn't when Colin says Tapioca; he can survive that. It's when he turns to Colin and sees him just smiling mildly like there's nothing out of the ordinary at all going on.
I love it when Ryan finally gives up with his weak, high pitched "Why don't you tell the people about it?" Colin is the master of getting others to completely fall to pieces. And we love him for it :)
Colin's best moments aren't the ones where he comes up with something really funny, but where he comes up with something that's not funny at all and falls totally flat, but he does it with such confidence and complete lack of hesitation or dignity that THAT becomes funny.
It must be fun to be Colin's friend or family member, he just knows exactly what to do to make you crack up... As seen by how he always just grins at Ryan during these kind of scenes, he definately does these kind of jokes on purpose to crack Ryan up.
I love how you can see how proud Colin is of himself, and how amused he is that he got Ryan to break. It's Fricking fantastic and it's probably my second favorite thing about this clip XD
I’ve said it elsewhere and I’ll say it again: there was absolutely nothing better on this show than watching Colin destroy Ryan and then just look on with satisfaction.
@Alex Kintzer Ricky Ricardo was a character on I Love Lucy, played by Desi Arnaz. Desi, like the character he played, was a Cuban bandleader known for his signature song called Babalu. Colin "confuses" tapioca with that song, which is why Ryan keeps laughing at the absurdity of his responses.
Max Power Thanks for explaining! This has always been one of my favourite moments just because of how Colin made Ryan crack, but I'm from South America so I didn't really know what it was all about. 👍😁
I could watch this over and over especially after a hard days work first time I watched this bit I laughed so hard I almost had boogers coming out of my nose
"Why don't you tell the people about it?" Ryan and Colin are the best duo, they just work with each other so great. And it's true you can never really know what to expect with Colin- it's why I firmly believe is why he's always the person to deliver the last line in German Drinking Song. Sends everyone into hysterics %99 percent of the time!!!
What I love, is that Ryan is always one of the most composed of the 4 on the show in an episode. I mean, he's practically always the one who stays in character no matter what (Carol Channing anyone?). This makes it so much funnier when he loses it (ALWAYS caused by the lovely Colin Mochrie.) I love how his voice gets higher and higher from 0.57-0.59. PRICELESS :)
You know, Ryan almost seems like he's going to pull through without breaking character, but then at 0:28 after looking at Colin's smirk, he just loses it! They're hilarious together! :)
What makes it even better is that from Ryan's perspective, not only does he have to look at Colin's bemused face, but Wayne, Laura, Linda, and Cece are behind Colin, all, going "What did he do to you to get you this badly?"
Genius. It's so cool to see a grown man gripped by the giggles and reduced to tears. That one where Drew loses it at the end of the 'cops and ducks' one is also awesome.
For those who always wondered, fun fact: When Ryan lost it at tapioca, Collin actually had no idea why it was so funny even though he said it. According to Ryan in one of the more recent zoom meetings of whose line is it anyway, Ryan told that it was just the way Collin said it that made it so funny to him!
@MattSingh1 what do you mean? the joke is funny cuz ryan was hinting about Cuba and colin said something random, then made it a song, when Ricky Ricardo's actual famous song is Babaloo. I'm pretty sure the audience and Wayne Brady get why that's funny
Now that I think about it, Colin and Ryan are the modern Tim Conway (Colin) and Harvey Korman (Ryan) , because Colin could make Ryan laugh hard enough to pee his pants, although I don't think Ryan ever did. Harvey pissed his pants during the dentist sketch.
I feel like Colin was trying to think of Tropicana (where Ricky Ricardo often played) but somehow got tapioca in his head and thought it would be so random he ran with it... Then puts it to the tune of 'bobaloo'... Comic genius
I was in somewhat of a bad mood today and for whatever reason this popped up on my page. So glad it did. It's the first time all day I've had a freaking smile. Thank you, Ryan and Colin!
These two work brilliantly together. Because of their talent and friendship, they really know how to zing each other--just like Harvey Korman and Tim Conway. One of Conway's running gags with Korman was "koala." There are some clips here that are well worth searching for and watching.
it's like you can actually hear Ryan deflating
LOL! I think he's also trying to not pee his pants.
Yesica1993 he would only Pierre cuzisbladersemty
Buzzcutbob That's what killed me 😁🤣😆😅😗 It's cute actually
Bertrand the Healer
I UNDERSTOOD YOUR REFERENCE, MY FRIEND!
Buzzcutbob me too
Colin: “Cuba! It’s a small island.”
Ryan: *broken* “It is!”
Ryan: (straining) Why don't you tell the people about it?
He sounded like Joel from vinesauce
I'm talking about CUUUUUUU~
CrunchyFinn **turns around**
Nice profile pic btw
CUHHHHHHHH
Cuba, that's a small island.
You can tell what really cracks Ryan up isn't when Colin says Tapioca; he can survive that. It's when he turns to Colin and sees him just smiling mildly like there's nothing out of the ordinary at all going on.
That used to happen to Harvey Korman with Tim Conway as well.
@@Mr1gladiatore My thoughts, too. Colin is the Conway of Whose Line.
I love it when Ryan finally gives up with his weak, high pitched "Why don't you tell the people about it?" Colin is the master of getting others to completely fall to pieces. And we love him for it :)
0:50 The way Colin looks at the camera, he just looks like a human Bugs Bunny. Guess it fits him, since he makes everybody laugh.
*He looks directly into the camera, his smile overtakes the frame.*
"THAT'S ALL FOLKS!"
"Ain't I a steenka?" is what that look says.
That sums it up... thanks so much
That’s a great way of putting it. Colin has big Bugs energy
I love how Ryan is only laughing a little until he sees the straight look on Colins face. Then all hell breaks loose. It's amazing!
Yeah
To this day I don’t know what Ricky Ricardo’s big hit number was, but I’ll always think it’s Tapioca.
It was Babalu
I love how Ryan sounds like a tire deflating.
"I'm talking about Cuuuu....."
Colin's best moments aren't the ones where he comes up with something really funny, but where he comes up with something that's not funny at all and falls totally flat, but he does it with such confidence and complete lack of hesitation or dignity that THAT becomes funny.

Like when he said that Arctic Terns scream "BACKSTREET BOYS!!"
Haha classic Colin
He's such a good dad!
0:28 Ryan.exe has stopped working
No, RyanOS has stopped working.
I'm talking about Cu-
*wheeeeeze*
I'm talking about Cuba col
😂😂😂😂
why dont you tell the people about it😅
I love how you can see how proud Colin is of himself, and how amused he is that he got Ryan to break. It's Fricking fantastic and it's probably my second favorite thing about this clip XD
There are very few times where Ryan laughs like that and it mostly always because of Collin!
Yeah, they are actually best friends in real life. They work real well together.
Adam Smith I know
"No, Colin..." So funny the way Ryan said that in mid-laugh. Priceless moment in a priceless show.
I’ve said it elsewhere and I’ll say it again: there was absolutely nothing better on this show than watching Colin destroy Ryan and then just look on with satisfaction.
PikalaxALT "I love how Colin makes a Mochrie out of the whole thing."
You are the worst kind of person.
17 years ago...where has the time gone?
How Colin manages to cause Ryan to undergo a meltdown. ^_^;;
Can't forget about the beatiful cry of the Artic Tern, 'Backstreet boys!'
You know the joke was funny when ryan turns around.
LOL! The tapioca got him going but I think Colin's nonchalant and cutesy smile right after just set Ryan off! XD
@Alex Kintzer

Ryan is adorable, he sounds so funny, when he laugh and try to speak at the same time.
TAPIOOOOOOOOOOOOOCA TAPIOOOOOOOOOOOOOCA
First time I saw this I laughed so hard because of ryans reaction.
I could watch this over and over especially after a hard days work first time I watched this bit I laughed so hard I almost had boogers coming out of my nose
16 years later... and I still "shout" tapioca whenever it's mentioned.
"Why don't you tell the people about it?"
Ryan and Colin are the best duo, they just work with each other so great.
And it's true you can never really know what to expect with Colin- it's why I firmly believe is why he's always the person to deliver the last line in German Drinking Song. Sends everyone into hysterics %99 percent of the time!!!
😂😂 This never gets old! 😂😂
It's hilarious that Colin used to try to get Ryan to laugh every episode. These two are what made this show 🤣😂
1:12 I love how in a snap Ryan goes from dying of laughter to regular composure haha!
Colin is so thrilled with himself.
I love how even though Ryan is practically dying, he still bounces back rather smoothly at the end "All right".
i love the part at 0:57 "Why don't you tell the people about it!" Wonderful lmao
This clip never fails to make me laugh, even when I'm feeling really sad.
"NO, COLIN! i'M TALKING ABOUT *heart attack*" that's exactly what I would say too on the set with Colin
What I love, is that Ryan is always one of the most composed of the 4 on the show in an episode. I mean, he's practically always the one who stays in character no matter what (Carol Channing anyone?). This makes it so much funnier when he loses it (ALWAYS caused by the lovely Colin Mochrie.)

I love how Colin makes a Mochrie out of the whole thing.
I see what you did there
How is this video seventeen years old when they look exactly the same today!?
Must be true what they say, comedy is healthy for the soul.
What makes it even better is that from Ryan's perspective, not only does he have to look at Colin's bemused face, but Wayne, Laura, Linda, and Cece are behind Colin, all, going "What did he do to you to get you this badly?"
ive seen this clip like millions of times & it STILL cracks me up every time! thanks for putting it up! :)
Who could possibly keep a straight face when looking at Colin Mochrie?
The arctic turn was funny as hell too especially Colins backstreet boys lmao
Ah, I just love it when that boy laughs.
And it's really cute when his voice gets so high and squeaky because he's laughing so hard. :)
Colin breaking Ryan is one of my favourite things ever
I love how Ryan can't talk without bursting out laughing.
Genius. It's so cool to see a grown man gripped by the giggles and reduced to tears. That one where Drew loses it at the end of the 'cops and ducks' one is also awesome.
If anyone is confused as to why it's funny as hell or why Ryan almost pissed himself, Collin confused Babalu with Tapioca.
***** That, plus Tapioca kind of looks like "Tropicana" as in the Tropicana nightclub, where Ricky Ricardo worked as the bandleader.
Killermike2178 You sir, know your Lucy.
... That sounded wrong. O.o lol
Google works wonders, my friend, although I have seen reruns of I love Lucy, so that helps to some extent.
***** No, not lol.
"Ah ah ah ah ah ah ah ah!"
I hope I'm spelling that correctly. If anyone can transcribe Ricky's laughter better, please help me. :)
Colin's answer is so absurd, that's why Ryan is laughing so hard. lol
No matter how many times I watch this, it cracks me up. OMG. Those two are geniuses together.
0:14. Love how he says "Really."
You can't improvise that kind of comedy. It either happens or doesn't. Simply classic!
Great quality for 2006!!
That was my question! Lol
My mom wanted boba and kept saying tapioca. Suddenly the way Colin says it popped into my head and I was so confused until I remembered this clip XD
"Why don't you tell the people about it?" BAHAHAHA!!!
I love the face that Colin always makes when Ryan is cracking up XD
The best part is when Ryan really loose it;
"I'm talking about Cuuuuuuuh...."
i love how ryan always turns around when he laughs (:
This makes me laugh so hard I worry about my lung capacity and my under ware availability .
Great choices!! Loved them all, thanks!!
I love this. The way Ryan cracks up is great.
44 people wouldn't know funny if you hit them with a bowl of tapioca..
TAPIIIIIIIOOOOOOOOOOCA!
TAPIIIIIIIOOOOOOOOOOCA!
I love how Ryan goes right back into character!
Colin- The only man who can ever make Ryan laugh THIS hard XD
This one and “Arctic tern” are the best, imo
Reminiscent of watching Tim Conway destroy Harvey Korman on The Carol Burnett Show.
Colin is THE BEST THE BEST THE BEST THE BEST at making Ryan - and me - laugh
Unforgettable
It's great when Colin makes Ryan break character
Tapioca tapioca.
Hysterical.
i like how l8r in the episode during 'show-stopping' number, when ryan songs his song,he goes "i crack up evrytime i hear tapioca!!"
tapicoooooca, I've never seen Ryan laugh so hard and how Colin keeps a straight face it's beyond me! He's just so cool
Best clip ever. Always reduces me to tears
@MattSingh1 what do you mean? the joke is funny cuz ryan was hinting about Cuba and colin said something random, then made it a song, when Ricky Ricardo's actual famous song is Babaloo. I'm pretty sure the audience and Wayne Brady get why that's funny
"I'm talking about Cuba COOHHHHlin....." awesome. XD
I love when Colin makes Ryan crack up. It makes whatever it is soo much funnier haha
i've seen this at least 10 times and it's still just as funny
Now that I think about it, Colin and Ryan are the modern Tim Conway (Colin) and Harvey Korman (Ryan) , because Colin could make Ryan laugh hard enough to pee his pants, although I don't think Ryan ever did. Harvey pissed his pants during the dentist sketch.
Colin: the best at making the others on the show laugh.
I feel like Colin was trying to think of Tropicana (where Ricky Ricardo often played) but somehow got tapioca in his head and thought it would be so random he ran with it... Then puts it to the tune of 'bobaloo'... Comic genius
Oh, man. That was so hilarious. Ryan cracking up.. oh, man. Hahahaha.
Colin officially wins the show
lol poor ryan whenever he starts to laugh it takes him awhile to regain his composure
I was in somewhat of a bad mood today and for whatever reason this popped up on my page. So glad it did. It's the first time all day I've had a freaking smile. Thank you, Ryan and Colin!
ryan is hilarious when he laughs hahahahahhahahahhahaa
always come to this when I need a good laugh
0:11 Ryan makes the same head turn as the Artic Tern
Tears are streaming down my face right now because of how funny this is!
These two work brilliantly together. Because of their talent and friendship, they really know how to zing each other--just like Harvey Korman and Tim Conway. One of Conway's running gags with Korman was "koala." There are some clips here that are well worth searching for and watching.
Another fab clip
this is awesome, because Colin's expressions are just as funny as watching Ryan crack up! I heart this so much lol :)
"Why don't you tell people about it?!"..... HILLARIOUS!!!!
Only Colin can make Ryan laugh hysterically!!!!
After watching this video I need to fluff my garfield.
when ever ryan starts to laugh he has a hard time stoping
i wish i could lol-wheeze as cute as him :(
i love when they just crack up like this
