You're doing exactly what I want to do. I'm so glad I found your channel, I hope you continue producing content. I also bought Canon R10 with kit lens 15-45 2 weeks ago. I'm currently purchasing extra equipment. I bought 2 tripods, small and big , nifty 50 and parasoley, shotgun mic, extra battery and sd card. I also want one of the 24-70 lenses, but it's a little out of my budget 😅 I'll probably buy the RF-S 10-18mm as my next lens. I'm a teacher so I need a wide angle shots for the 20 kids in the class 😅 Also for wideangle landscapes. Anyway, I really like the content you make. They guide me well. Thank you much ☺
Hey Thank you so much! I hope you will achieve the same or more! 🥰 Btw thats a Nice setup already. Yep the sigma 24-70 was expensive. BUT! Did you check out the new sigma native RF 18-50mm 2.8 around 650$. I want to check that lens out too at some point. I will definitely come up more videos! 📽️
@@reyesproductionDK Actually yes i did search for that lens quite a lot. Only downside is that lans has no "IS". Sure 10-18 has bad aperture but there is no other "kinda" budget lens with IS for wideangle except rfs 10-18. I need that lens first because I shoot a lot handheld videos. And that sigma 18-50 or a used 24-70 will probably be the third lens I buy. ☺
@mustafagurel1545 yeah I absolutely understand that! I have stabilizer in the lens But my setup is so heavy alone, I wouldnt need that stabilizer anyways. 😁 I recommend to rig It out a bit heavier so It will make really good handheld results. (I mean If you do videos) for photo i just use the lens and body alone.
@@reyesproductionDK Yes i saw your setup, it looks quite heavy 😅 Thank you, now i think maybe i can buy 18 50 with a smallrig first. kit lens already has IS maybe ı can get by with it a bit 😁
Your content is great. I am also a beginner and bought r10 last year but didn't get time to do much with it. I am more into videography, can you suggest best beginner level lens and gear setup to start on short videos?
I am also more like video than photo. 🫡 I just do some videos like this for the ones who like photos 😁 I would recommend to check out the new SIGMA 18-50mm f/2.8 RF lens. It’s not that expensive and has native RF mount so you dont need adapter for It. And this Range is pretty cool for video. But I Think you can make videos with any lens. A kit lens is also fine But because of the f value on that it’s hard to Expose correctly. Especially If you shoot inside. You need light 😏
@@reyesproductionDK i have 18-150 mm kit lens and 50 mm prime lens currently. I liked your video's colour grading. Are you designing sound tracks on your own or using any third party? Are you using any luts ? I don't have much knowledge about camera settings but most of the times I use auto but that output more contrast sometimes
@@lovykaul724 Oh, cool! I think you are more than fine with those lenses for now! I would spend more time to know the camera and the settings in manual mode. That would be a huge step! Just bought my canon R10 (thanks your video with R10 and 24-70mm 😁) w 50mm 1.8 two weeks ago, now I'm only waiting on the filters yet to come. I love the quality of photos coming out with your lens and now you've made me want to buy this lens too 😄 but I'll wait a little more since I just started my journey into photography (also my wallet lost weight). Love your photography style and colors!
I will definitely do that in my next videos! And if I have time I will also write down the settings for this video in a pinned comment! 🤝 Thank you for asking! 😇
Hey. As you can see handheld is solved. Already have lens support. And If I switc to stanilizer, my gimbal has a baseplate with a small built in Y shape lens support in the baseplate of the gimbal. A Smart thing 😁 (ZHIYUN weebil s)
Oh i am stupid. I thought you commented on my rig video >< Yeah. The lens is super heavy (around 1.2 KG) but i picked a gimbal which can take a heavier setup. I found some article where they say it can hold a 3.5 kg setup. So i had no problem with setting up on a gimbal so far.
@@reyesproductionDK Thanks brother, I recently bought the Sigma 18-55 f 2.8 RF. I was about to buy the 24-70, but because of the adapter and the weight, I opted for the Sigma 18-55. Do you think good work can be done with this Sigma 18-50 2.8 lens?
@@andresvanegas3085 Damnnn. Good choice. Of course you can do a great job with it! My lens is super great, brutal quality but 2x more expensive than the 18-55 rf. Hello sir I had a doubt. I had an rfs18-150 3.5-6.3 with my Canon R10 and unfortunately, I broke it and the repair costs come near to the new lens cost. So I'd like to get an upgrade. Sad to hear. :/ you mean 24-105? I only now that not 150. Btw If it’s RF mount, you can easily adapt on the r10. If it’s EF mount, you need an EF to RF adapter. If it’s 24-105 f4 then the Aperture is f4 all the way zoomed in and out. It’s a Nice lens But for me, for video the f4 wouldnt be enough. Rather get an f 2.8 (But this lens would be a Nice upgrade for you, from the kit lens!
@@reyesproductionDK do you think the new sigma 18-50 2.8 dcdn is good for videography. i don't have a gimbal , so for videography I can get the sigma and the gimbal and still save enough money. do you think its a better option compared to 24-105 f4?
Yeah it is a hard question! It depends on what do you want to do. The sigma + gimbal would be a nice combo. But if you pick the 24-105 f4, you have to learn to make really good handheld. (And if you do, you will be king ;) ) I have a gimbal but i don't use it so much. Unless you working with the camera everyday all day i would pick the 24-105 instead.
