What do the writers have against Thorne? He is working in the basement, he loses his wife and his daughter is insane. Why can't he have a break?

I’m not saying that I’m happy with the way they got rid of Aly’s charecter but I’m glad she’s gone because she’s crazy, she’s has an obsessive hatred over Steffy for something that she didn’t do, I didn’t like that they killed her charecter off but they should have just gotten her some help than gotten rid of her.

Wish Ivy had said something to someone about this conversation with Aly. Might have made a difference.
Yeah I mean they are all being incredibly oblivious. When Ally died everyone felt guilty for not seeing the signs. How could you not see them? Ally literally said "I'm at breaking point," plus she was going around saying deeply disturbing things in front of everyone. She wasn't hiding it at all. But after hearing it they just go back to talking about the weather and laughing like nothing just happened.
Right? I figured Pam, given her issues in the past would've noticed something was wrong w/Aly 😕😛

Yes, it was said that she has/had mental issues and she didn't cope well with the death of her mother. Even Oliver helped her last time she snapped. Why is he that passive now?
They sat back and watched her sociopathic antagonists behaviour get worst and did nothing to provent it when they should have.

No new episodes lately so watching old ones. I hated how they killed Ally and didn't get her some therapy for losing her mom so young.
This was a terrible storyline… Ally was was mentally deranged and the writers had her set Steffy up to be killed in the same spot Ally’s mother died and when Steffy killed Ally in self defence the story was never concluded correctly, there should have been video evidence of Ally trying to kill Steffy yet the writers went out of their way to make Steffy the aggressor and had Ivy film the attack on her phone only to capture Steffy hitting Ally away in defence… why didn’t the writers introduce some CCTV footage to clear Steffy and let everyone see that Ally was an unhinged girl who Steffy had previously tried to help?
I miss the Avants, bring them back!

Part of Ally’s mental instability was due to Myron and Rick bullying and demeaning her in her own home.

I wish they had kept Ally. She's the only one that tried to hold Steffy accountable. On this show, only Brooke and her kids are supposed to pay the piper. They just don't respect Ally because she looks younger but she talks and acts just like Old Stephanie and they always backed her up especially when she was beating up on Brooke, but make her look and act crazy when she's telling the truth about Steffy. Bell is so anti-Brooke it's ridiculous.
Are we watching the same show? Bell is anti-Brooke. Brooke who gets forgiven for all no matter what she does.

Even Aly has gone insane but everything she's said about Steffy using sex and seduction, and Liam's lust after her is so true. Aly was the only one who see these things and tried to warn Ivy about it, despite her insanity.

He let Steffy use her sexuality and her body to manipulate him, and pull his strings, so she can control him to get him do anything she wants him do, which I'm still not surprised. That's not pure love. Its sick and vile. But one thing I'm very surprised that Ivy didn't realize that Steffy was doing these things to Liam.

@Nellie Cooper How could you say that? Aly was full of potential. The producers and the writers didn't have to destroy and killed off her character, which I'm still pissed off about it. She and Steffy both have similarities and alot of common. They've would been more than cousins, but as true sisters. That could've happened, but the writers had to took that from them, stole that from them, and killed that from them.
