Its a very useful channel, in which we all get very important information. I find its more difficult to get a Wohnung than getting a job from employer. There are so many applicant and letter to House honour and offcourse the letter or massage should be in Deutsch and many hidden factors are there.
So it would be great if you add some questions in your Q&A section related to stay after first time arrival to Germany. There another one important matter , If one has not able to show the perfect perticular address, he also could not be able to register for the city.
Questions like: where person with family for at least 2-3 months easily stay and able to do all related formalities like, city registration , account oppening etc?
In Germany the hotels cost are very high and also its addresses are not allowed for city registration.
German gov also strict about the rules that one should be done his city registration with in given time frame.
Question: How can someone apply for Wohnoung from India? What are the necessary documents are required for application?
Some of documents may not available when applied from india. Will it accepted by Honour?
It would be great if you or someone share solution of those hidden difficult situeation.
If person are not capable to find an Wohnoung or other, then city registration are not possible and finally back to the home country.

Thank you so much for this informative video on house hunt in Germany, your videos are very helpful and provide in-depth information about the life and living in Germany, however, I have one query regarding Studentenwerk ..Is it okay if I apply 2-3 months before my semester starts? I mean, if my classes are going to start in the month of the October, then is it acceptable to apply in the month of August?
I am also asking myself this question, this concept is very confusing especially considering that you get the admission in august.. how do they expect from us to apply in mai when we don't even know when and where we will get accepted? Espacially since the admission in the uni is necessary for the application?
U can apply 2-3 months before your semester starts but I would say apply in May even if you have not got the admit it doesn’t matter it is just a profile u can delete later as well

Hi there, I just got accepted to an STW Münich. I have a few questions:
1. Is it possible to have a friend stay overnight? If yes, how many nights max can he/she stay?
2. I will move in this October. Can we move in on holidays or weekend, or does it have to be weekdays? October 1st till 3rd of this year will be a holiday.

1. Yes, there's no actual limit as to how many nights a friend can stay overnight, but it's usually something you have to communicate with your WG mates.
2. You will be asked to collect the keys for the dorm at some point, and it's usually on weekdays as far as I remember.

depends on your room and dorm choice. some dorms have waiting lists stretching upto 2 years. some have 2 semesters, some have one.
Hey, it is said that your income cannot exceed the max Bafög rate. I will have a blocked account which will give me 861 euros per month but i still need to work part time when i arrive. Hi, Will Embassy ask for IELTS or TOEFL proof if the admission was given based on English language bachelors/medium of instruction certificate? If yes, what is needed to be provided?
When you are given admission based on English language medium of instruction certificate , the university will give you a letter which you can show the embassy people if they ask
