@@igee1605 not much in terms of being a technical marvel, but the way it's designed and all really makes the game appear as if it's drenched in *ink* no idea if that was intentional or not, but I think the sequels lost that ink-ish quality to them. I think it added quite a lot to the atmosphere of the game. it definitely made the asylum that much more creepy.
One thing I missed in the other games was atmosphere. City definitely had atmosphere (especially the under ground sections) but Asylum was just beautiful.
I don’t know why but when I was little this scene 0:25 always haunted me not in a bad way at all like in a bad ass way. Also wow that is the best Batman cape I’ve ever scene 😂

Always remember my first exposure to the series being this trailer playing on the DVD for the Dark Knight. The impression it left on me was immense, though I always thought it was some sort of animated movie when watching the trailer, as a Wii kid who could never imagine games looking like that. Even to this day, Asylum's atmosphere is unrivalled by its sequels. City and Knight had better combat and stealth gameplay, Origins had a better story, but Asylum's feel is unmatched by any of them. It's my favourite in the series for that very reason. The sheer atmosphere that every inch of the game radiates, and that could be said even for this trailer that introduced me to the Arkham Saga.

I still want to know what that Batmobile model starting at 0:12 looked like before they designed the final version we saw in the game, it kind of looked a lot more like the Arkham Knight Batmobile from the back. If you go to 0:15 you can see that it has a little bat hood ornament on it too.
I absolutely love the Bat Symbol chosen for this game and I really wish they kept it. Very inspired by the Bat Symbol from Tim Burton's Batman Version 2, December 2023: I absolutely love the Batsymbol chosen for this game, and I really wish Rocksteady kept it. If they had made it a sequel to Arkham Knight, not only would it make sense with Batman being dead, which would also add another layer to his character showing that he was actually willing to give his own life to protect the identities of those he cares about, it would add another layer to the story with Jason trying to regain the trust of Dick and Barbara while trying to earn the trust of Tim after he rolled a private militia into Gotham to try and kill Bruce over a vendetta fabricated by the Joker.
