I have loads of suggestions! I cook vegan dishes for non vegans and they LOVE all of these: breakfast: french toast (chia seeds, oat milk, cornstarch, bread, crushed cereal, cinnamon sugar, vegan butter, maple syrup). Lunch: fried "chicken" sandwich with french fries (jackfruit/rice paper/tons of spices/liquid smoke chicken). Snack: cheesy nachos (potato/carrot/nutritional yeast cheese sauce & tofu crumble for ground beef). Dinner: creamy "ricotta" pasta (sauce from soaked cashews and tofu)
It’s definitely possible, I think you’d just have to cook nearly all of your meals yourself and eat a lot of the same things. Eating out might be difficult. But all you need is a protein source, veg, and some fat.
@@katcuzzi Well where is her protein? A little bit of almond milk in her breakfast, a bit of peanut butter with lunch? She does add tempeh and tofu noodles but this is not nearly enough. I predict she will eventually have health problems.
It is way past time to retire the term "junk food vegan". There is nothing wrong with eating processed vegan foods as part of a balanced vegan diet. As someone who has been vegan for over 19 years, here's your friendly reminder: take your B12 and get enough protein. It's a lot easier to get adequate protein if you're not afraid of things like Beyond Meat and Just Egg.

I personally find that eating majority fat and protein (keto) causes weight gain. My personal goal is to lose fat and gain a bit of muscle. I’m vegan and currently on a low fat - fat free and low gi diet which really seems to work. I’ve lost a good amount of fat and a bit of weight so far too.

I hope the keto vegan researches into health, would suggest ‘how not to diet’ but Micheal Gregger. High fat diets never work for long term weight loss, they keep you on a yo-yo and cause deficiencies, as well as leaving you unsatiated. What she was eating was relatively healthy, apart from the oil the other fat sources weren’t bad, like the avocado and peanuts, reducing the fat and protein and adding in healthy carbs would make for her to lose more weight. Also when she said ‘you can never get enough protein’ that’s actually not true, it puts excess strain on your liver. We don’t actually need that much protein (unless you’re some kind of body builder) it’s just brainwashing by the meat and dairy industry, eat enough calories and you’ll get enough protein.
Honestly I didn’t know keto vegan was possible, the whole plant vegan recipes looked delicious and super nutritious but unless you got enough time to prep/cook and knowledge about cooking it will be challenging, the junk vegan its an easier way to start your vegan journey.

i ate like the whole foods vegan and lost 100 lbs doing it for 2 years. then i got into a relationship and my diet started looking more like the junk food vegan + 20 lbs which is also fine. but keto vegan i tried for a week i couldn't do it :(
Better do the whole foods plant based diet. HCLF and much fruit😍👌
Is not junk food!! Tacos are healthy, solo no pongas mucha cosas fritas , puedes hervir algunas otras cocinarlas al vapor .
I LOVE these kinds of videos! Very inspirational!
That grain bowl & the soup? Definitely my favorites
The junk food vegan is so relatable 🙋♀️😍
for that english muffin she really used the most expensive stuff possible 😭😂
I'd be interested in a junk food eat in a day without ready to eat products - so self made junk food i mean
I have loads of suggestions! I cook vegan dishes for non vegans and they LOVE all of these: breakfast: french toast (chia seeds, oat milk, cornstarch, bread, crushed cereal, cinnamon sugar, vegan butter, maple syrup). Lunch: fried "chicken" sandwich with french fries (jackfruit/rice paper/tons of spices/liquid smoke chicken). Snack: cheesy nachos (potato/carrot/nutritional yeast cheese sauce & tofu crumble for ground beef). Dinner: creamy "ricotta" pasta (sauce from soaked cashews and tofu)
I think junk food is always bought.
The different perspectives are very interesting. I enjoyed watching these masterpieces. They all had such soothing voices and good ideas. Well done❤❤
That oatly vanilla ice cream is amazing. I'm not even vegan and I can vouch for that ice cream, it is the bomb
this video was a gold mine of recipes i can get down with. thank you for sharing.
Am I the only one who doesn't understand how someone can be a keto vegan for an extended period of time?
It's actually not that hard if you aren't obsessive about it. Some people take keto way too far and extreme in ways it wasn't ever intended to be.
I seriously doubt you can be a vegan and keto..you’d have to be eating less than 50 g of carbohydrates which is impossible.
Gotta change those oils! She used the worst 2 oils to cook with. Olive oil & coconut oil. They change properties when over high heat and become super unhealthy, like canola oil or veg oil. Grapeseed oil or sunflower seed oil are really good frying oils
My personal vegan day: 5 cups of tea throughout 7-10 am (tea with a bit of almond milk, Chobani vegan creamer, and some non-sugar sweetener)
1 pm popcorn and a lollipop (non buttered)
About 9pm I have a large think of lettuce with vegan Caesar dressing and croutons. Then i might have more tea
Junk food vegan still seems pretty healthy. It’s not oreos all day
I wouldn’t even call it junk food
I have tried some of Rachel's recipes, and I'm a believer! They're fairly cheap and so freaking delicious.
The veggie grain bowl (Keto Vegan Lunch) looked so good!!!
All of these look awesome!
why does the video image not include the keto vegan?
Junk Food Vegan should be changed to spicy Junk food vegan. Sis put chili flakes and hot sauce on literally everything.
Does Rachel have her own blog? I started as a natural ingredients vegan and done really well but I needed more recipes. I’d love to see her recipes.
It's individual. My husband thrives on keto, I don't.
I'm so glad they included bridget
Mya's orange and white kitty has the same name as my orange and white kitty! Bunny! Only my Bunny has long fur. And her name is actually Marina-Bunny, though she goes by Bunny. Yay, Bunny kitties! 💖🐾💖🐾
Struggling keto vegan here 🙌
🤣
The one problem I have with the Keto diet is that they avoid natural sugar from fruits. Absolute crazy if you ask me the body definitely needs fruits sugar and vitamin c and all the other amazing vitamins you get from fruits....
@Artoria Pendragon peppers? Carbs are a good thing. We need to stop acting like our brain doesn't run off of them
I hope the keto vegan researches into health, would suggest ‘how not to diet’ but Micheal Gregger.
Love that I just got a bunch new recipes to use with this
I like the junk food vegan recipes!!!! Thanks!
For a low carb different wheat, try eincorn. It is an ancient wheat that will still have flavor.
The fact that this homegirl had Valentina. YESSS QUEEN!!! 🥰
Honestly I didn’t know keto vegan was possible, the whole plant vegan recipes looked delicious and super nutritious but unless you got enough time to prep/cook and knowledge about cooking it will be challenging, the junk vegan its an easier way to start your vegan journey.
More comparison videos between different vegan diets please! 💖
Wow, these ladies are amazing!! Thank you for sharing. Each mea llooked wonderful in its own way!!
Besides all the other eating disorders, compulsive "healthy eating" ist also one, called orthorexia (so for those with fear of sugar, fats and wheat flour bread)
I would love to know the price comparison between all 3 vegans because they all look expensive
Loving all the vegan content! Please keep it up (:
Only been vegan for a month and it’s been a bit difficult to balance because I have nut allergies and severe gluten intolerance. Ive just been eating salads and smoothies or roasted veggies lol.
Vegan and gluten free is a real struggle. I've found a few meat replacements that made my life easier. The soy chorizo from trader Joe's is amazing, I also really like the garden black bean burgers that are gf. It's good to have a few things on hand that you can throw together. I've been doing a lot of sauteed or air fried tofu or roasted chickpeas on my salads. I like to make a chia pudding with whatever milk you want but add flax seeds and hemp hearts!
@@rebeccamartin1858 thank you! I’ve found actual burgers are great and I love the soy chorizo from TJ as well. I think an air fryer would help immensely. App register the feedback and wish you a great day!💕✨
@@theuniquebean I monitored prices on air friers for a long time and finally got one. It's been amazing for quick vegan meals. Total game changer!
I'm not vegan but I would like to incorporate more vegetarian and vegan meals to substitute healthier options and I would actually like to try several of these. Great video 🥗 🌮 😊
Omg i loved this, i am vegan too, i eat whole foods plant based foods and share that on my yt channel, but i would love to join on some of these videos
I’m currently a vegetarian but eat vegan whenever possible. What I learned from this is that I align more with a “junk food vegan” I’m not even mad.
Guess what , it’s always possible to eat vegan.
About a year ago, I was diagnosed with PCOS.For several years, I had gained a lot of weight, felt tired, and had problems with anxiety. I had tried other diets but never managed to stick with them in the long term. After doing some research on PCOS, I came across an article about keto and found the motivation to give low carb a try. I wanted to improve my lifestyle and health and going keto definitely did.
I’m happy for you. You’re such an inspiration!
The healthy vegan's meals look delicious, does she have her own channel?
How are they deciding what’s healthy? Sugar content? Calories?
Health is about balance and what each person needs to be their healthiest is very different from person to person. But sugar or calorie counts are never going to be the determining factor.
calories don't determine health, especially since some people need more or less that others and they change on a day to day basis
I love love love this video series.
The “junk food” vegan is my eating healthy
i find standard salads so boring but the lass from the "$5 VS $35 PIZZA" video made that salad of hers look SOOOO EXCITING with all those colours & textures! It looked 100% DELICIOUS & soooo EASY that i reckon even i could make it!
Please do more Keto or Low Carb vegan and vegetarian foods! I am a carnivore and I struggle to find things to eat besides salad and veggies without using meat!
Add the basil leaves after you cook the veggies.
They all look so good. I've been craving soups. Thinking of potato soup with veggies and white beans. ☺️ Our store I think just added those miracle noodle and mushroom noodles.
I would love to know how much each of these meals cost.
I have found that my food shop halved when I went vegan, especially if you're whole food it's so sooo cheap
I think it will be good if you try the format like in the A.T.E in this kind of video so all of you can talk and share when presenting your food
Omg! That kale salad looks sooo amazing!!!!
Looks good! Just think that it might be better to add the basil leaves in the keto lunch fresh, won't they burn in the oven? I don't use Fahrenheit though, so maybe the temperature is more low, but still curious about this
This video was amazing! Really helpful!!! Thank you!
Ugh yessss! I used to eat exactly like the junk food vegan diet, but I’m trying to lose weight now so I’m trying more Whole Foods into my diet and liking it so far :)
As a Korean Vegan: gochujjang and rice 3x a day
Which vegan Fiete is the mist low calorie diet low sugar low carb ? The keto one ?
I love seeing the different vegan options. The whole foods look so good, so does that keto pad thai. Yum, you've made me hungry.
I'm definitely a junk food vegan lol. Gardein, vegan Ben & Jerry's, and So Delicious are my go to's 😫
Really enjoyed this video, would have loved to get my hands on linked recipes though!
All looks very tasty, but I got distracted and so forget who was who -- helpful if something in the corner reminds us of the specific diet.
Loved this video! Thanks
For the tips!
Can we PLEASE put measurements... I need recipes. I can't just fallow videos. Thank you! They look amazing and I would like to make.
Ok as a lifter, that sweet potato pancake caught my attention though. I'm gonna try that one for my breakfast
I’m like a mix of a keto vegan and a junk food vegan 😆 🌱
Does the keto vegan have a youtube channel I love all the recipes for all three i would honestly eat them all but have been looking to try keto vegan food.
Then don't try all her recipes because I am pretty sure that she is not in ketosis eating that many vegetables. Vegetables add to the carb/fiber counter too.
I’m definitely the junk food vegan!! I always wondered did other vegans eat like me because that’s like 98% of my meals and whole food vegan the rest 🤣🤣🤣
Love the yellow and white dishes
