Thank you! It was a struggle to get 100% , first time I ever did a 100% run 😹 and it was only because I got told that there is a special ending if I 100% it... My wish was for Yuna and Tidus to be reunited, so this was definitely the best ending EVER.

I agree on their romance. It feels so much more realistic than, say, Cloud + Aerith or Dart + Shana only to name those two. No playing hard to get, no unnecessary edginess, just two awkward teenagers falling for one another and dealing with loss (real or impending) in their own way.
I miss wholesome endings like this. I feel like the last few in the franchise were all bitter sweet...
Yes, but lets be honest: the Bitter Sweet ending in FFX is much stronger! And it is a Food think, because how things turned in FFX2 is that beautiful and heartwarming because we shared yunas experience to lose him.
I believe in souls and there connections, and the ones i loved and lost will meet my soul again, but not in this life - yuna only lost two years, so happy for her
This game will always be a masterpiece from the storyline to the gameplay. Im happy that they reunited after all they been through.
The voices you hear speaking to Yuna are Bahamut's Fayth (the kid), Jecht, Auron and Braska. They are all in the Farplane. In a way I'm disappointed you don't also hear Tidus speaking to her. That would have been perfect. But they couldn't do that without spoiling the ending, kind of.

Honestly, I don't think ANYONE without a guide knew to do the whistling thing at the end on their first playthrough. Your reaction to seeing Tidus revived was priceless though XD

Well, getting Tidus back was the best outcome! I'm soooo happy I decided to listen and do a 100% run, even though I had to redo it ... A couple of times 😹 but totally worth it. Would've been great if there was a longer bonus scene, or a WEDDING SCENE with Tidus and Yuna 🥹❤️

Now, hear me out: As much as I love the perfect ending, I feel Tidus returning was actually unnecessary. The point of the story of X-2 I think was Yuna revisiting her past, dealing with her grief and moving on from her memories. IMO, the truth is she did *not* need Tidus to return to live a happy life. The normal ending with her riding the airship alludes to that. "This is MY story, and it will be a good one."
I suggest you watch the other endings on RUclips. There's an "okay" ending where Tidus doesn't return and she says her final goodbyes to him in the Farplane. I think this ending was more realistic and appropriate for her story, if not as satisfying as the good one :D

I did check out the other endings, but I liked this one with Tidus the best 😸💖 it's still Yuna's journey and she is the one whom brought Tidus back as well. Without her this wouldn't have been possible.
I like the ending but I cried because of it 😹 I rather cry happy tears, especially after I played A plague tale requiem...

There's another secret ending to this. If you finish creature creator when you beat this the 2nd time, you'll get an ending where Shinra is chilling around the Zanarkand campfire with a few fiends.

Yes! It took such a long time, I had to redo the chapters a couple of times. Without a guide I would have never finished at 100%

This Series was a lot of fun, I enjoyed both of the Game’s. These FF Character’s were written out so well and the Stories, I am glad we got the perfect happy ending! Yuna deserved that, the Gameplay and battle system was great. It wasn’t repetitive ect. I loved that secret ending with Tidus and Yuna it was heartwarming! I am glad you enjoyed the Series, & I’m excited for the next adventure! 🤗

Yuna: My Boyfriend is here or future husband!!!!!!
I've seen this ending at least a good few times now but it always manages to get a few stray tears from me lol for as silly as the game was seen as back in the day, it did have some heart in it and it's nice to see it get more appreciation in recent years :)

Tidus is just a dream based off of Shuyin. The fact that all of Tidus’s overdrives are just this dude’s regular attacks and he can spam them is proof that Shuyin was HIM. Dude is a total badass. Shuyin is the original, Tidus is the Cheap Copy…at least according to the Lore.
Good sitting through another playthrough of this and seeing people enjoy the game but all I can think of is how much she likes the character of brother but didn't seem like she ever put it together that brother and Yuna are cousins. That's one of the two things that people always point out about this game while playing it LOL

40 years later you see an old tidus and yuna rebuilding zanarkand while some of bevelle still upset about their maesters dying start building machina weapons to attack tidus's zanarkand thus creating another loop lol.

My friend mentioned that it was a really difficult game, she quit after the first boss because she wasn't able to beat it 🥲 so I'm a little bit nervous 😹
I just saw an article of this game a couple of months ago, that said something about it being a hidden gem. And the story was REALLY good, and I'm a sucker for a good story... So I got myself a Xbox 360 and the game 😹
@@SlashterpieceGaming talk about commitment buying a new system for a game 😊 I did that once for Resident Evil on the PS1 (yes I am not a spring chicken anymore 😂 ) and later for Guitar Hero 3 on the Wii… both times worth it, got my moneys worth many times over. 👍🏻

So glad you picked this game - so much flirting - so much unrequited love = so many side characters had a plot related to love for their other half - Lenne, Dona, Leblanc, Brother-Leader but in the end Yuna found Tidus! I hope from this game you will remember that flirting in games called Final Fantasy - is one of the essential elements - that allows you to better understand the plot of the game and the humor and funny situations in the game ! next game from the Final Fantasy series - I'm signing up for one of the viewers for sure - I'm 100% convinced that there will be lots of fun and humor and of course flirting - first of all, find the main Waifu/Wifey - and get carried away by the game's plot! finally, my highest praise for your tenacity in getting the perfect ending - it must have been very difficult - and your kitty must have been very patient throughout your game of Final Fantasy X-2 (1:00:30) great facial expression - and that smile for doing a really great job - not only my humble opinion - many hours of playing to get a perfect ending - keep it up - keep surprising Slashterpiece Gaming !

That's what I don't like about x-2... No matter what you do you will be op by the time you reach vegnagun.... Still congrats on finishing it and getting that ending. Oh and all of shuyins special moves are variations of tidus' overdrives
Not only that, but Vegangun is weak either way 🥲 I did a second run skipping a lot of the random encounters and only doing the necessary stuff. At lvl 35 he was still pretty easy, only Shujin was more of a challenge. But still not difficult 🤔

I was really weak when I reached the farplane the first time… Anima killed the crap out of me so many times… then again I was like 10 and it was my second FF, first that I actually completed.

I hate to tell you but YUNA breaks up with TIDUS... You can hear it in the Remaster - Audio Drama. Breaks my heart.
The novel and the audio-drama were terrible, most fans just ignore it and see it as non-canon

Congrats on getting the perfect ending. This is a seriously difficult task. It's way too complicated, with so many things which can be messed up. Only peoples who reaaaally devote to it, and doing everything exactly with a guide, down to the smallest detail, can get it done
I susgest you also do the Last Mission part. It's like a dungeon exploring minigame. It can be quite confusing at first, but when you understand its gameplay, it will be pretty fun. If you complete it you will be able to listen to Kimi E, a very beautiful song
I read the other comments on this video, and it seems you're gonna play FF13 next. A little advice then: FF13 has a very unique battle system. It may feel weird and boring as first, but I assure you that it will get better overtime, so don't let its first impression discourages you

I had my friend check the guides so I didn't get any ending spoilers, I think we had to go through 3 different ones just to check so nothing is missed. She did such a good job keeping it spoiler free 💖

@SlashterpieceGaming Don't ever worry there is a reason why Yuna do that she only pretending to like someone else for a 'reason'. Maybe if you interested to read the continuation story after X-2 is here the official novel you can google it

Do you have to talk to every NPC and watch every cut scene to get it?
I had to follow a guide to 100%, I didn't talk to every NPC, cutscenes could be skipped, but you couldn't skip the old man's speech otherwise you couldn't get the perfect ending 😱

You were pretty overpowered for this. It's a shame there wasn't scaling cuz it felt like the final bosses were designed around doing the bare minimum of the story.
Fuuuuun fact: what could be considered a secret ending occurs if you fail to stop Vegnagun in its final form and is allowed to fire

Well since I had to redo almost all chapters again I was at level 45 when I came to the final boss again, and it still was quite easy 😅 the random encounters leading up to Vegnagun we're stronger and more challenging.
@@SlashterpieceGaming right like lol wrong way here's a borderline superboss you'll have to fight maybe a dozen more times. In fact, I'm pretty sure Azi Dahaka has more hp than all of Vegnagun's forms combined.
Azi Dahaka was waaay more challenging 😹 you'd think that a machine like Vegnagun, whom can destroy Spira, would be more dangerous 😹

It's incredible to think FFX and FFX-2 came out between 2001 and 2003. I played these games for the first time around 2005...That was almost 20 years ago.
