I like ateez a lot and I heard from many groups that they like i.u before debute so they inspire with her even first time by ateez I heard name I.U singer 😅but after knowing bts I realized they are more attached with i.u but I never listen her in this mv thumbnail I saw bts V so I clicked and then in the end same reaction of everyone but bts fans cried more I saw.😮
IU is an amazing actress and solo artist. She and V nailed this role and broke all our hearts.
IU has been in the industry for 16 years and I found out about her around 2009 when she released Nagging which was a hit and then Good Day which put her in the map and was a mega hit. She has a varied discography so it's always interesting to listen to the music she releases, she's been producing her albums since 2015 and lyricist of most of her songs. I love Blueming especially the live clip from her Love poem concert.

V is a hugely in demand actor (although he’s only done one TV show) and friend of IU. She and the award winning director were trying to find who to cast as the male lead and she asked V and he says yes. Filmed one week before he left for the military. They both blew us away. Story telling and IUs voice ethereal. She has a duet produced and featuring Suga of BTS “Eight” also a song in his DDay album “People pt2”.
V isn't "a hugely in demand actor" he is just VERY popular.

Hi dears. 69yo ARMY here. The singer was IU...Korea's beloved "little sister". Besides singing she also acts. The guy is V of BTS of course. V also had a starring role in a Korean historical drama called "Hwarang". He's quite the actor.
IU is like the Queen of Kpop everyone knows, and everyone loves her.
In this MV IU is playing a deaf girl, and the actor (V of BTS) played a blind guy (as you know). They somehow were chased by a cube that already killed millions of people (cloth hill). But they had each other and when they looked through the camera they could see their old self. In the end the cube won and they died together.
In her concert IU showed a deleted scene of Love wins all. A happy ending for the couple, were they drove away by car.

IU can't hear and V’s one eye can't see ,in the end IU covered the good eyes of Taehyung so he won't see the horrible ending in front of them ,im Stuck at how a single tear from Taehyung’s good eye traced its path down his face and IU’s hand gently covered his eyes, It's as if he found a momentary refuge in her touch, offering a subtle relief from the overwhelming sensation ... IU, not only the biggest soloist in Korea, a 16 year music industry veteran. but she's also acted in 10 TV series and 4 films.
LOL I had a good laugh with probably everyone else who heard you say that you're taking a break from BTS and ended up watching this MV. Both IU and V have both acted in the past (V in his debut role in the series "Hwarang") and they decided to work on this project up to 2 days before V was scheduled to enter the military last December. They're good friends and have covered IU's solo song "Ending Scene" together in a duet when V guested on IU's YT Show, "IU's Palette". Great collab for both this song and the other one. :)
IU has also worked a few times with Yoongi/Suga as a producer on the songs "Eight" and "People Pt. 2". Suga has also guested on IU's Palette (same with J-hope) and IU has guested on Suga's show "Suchwita".
I found out about IU through her Korean drama series Hotel del Luna, and she's fondly called "K-pop Princess" in her country for her very impressive talent in both singing and acting.

IU is a Queen, the best solo singer from SK. Her angelic vocal and songwriting skills are amazing! and her songs always top the charts in Korea (she has songs with Suga too, they're both the same age and both songwriters/producers so they're close). also the guy in the mv is V BTS (he is also IU's good friend, that's why he agreed to appear in her mv) you should also check out V's solo, he is more into jazzy RnB soul genre

The irony of taking a break from BTS only to stumble into more BTS by accident lmao. This had me cackling. Our Taehyung (aka V) is good friends with IU so she asked him if he would co-star in her MV since he has acting experience and fit the role well. He promised ARMY to show us some more of his acting before he had to enlist in the military so her request was the perfect opportunity to keep his promise to us. IU is a serious sweetheart with a lovely voice much like Taehyung. They make a really lovely pair of friends and were really considerate acting partners. The behind the scenes videos show how tough this shoot was with the chilly weather but they really pushed through and did well.

It was a lot of fun and actually has several of his friends in it that are all very good very well know actors. His friend group is called the Wooga Squad. Park Seo Joon is a member of the group and in several dramas that are great! I can’t wait for you guys to dive in. Not sure what genre of shows y’all like, but ask you KPop peeps for some suggestions.
