JungKook’s album Golden is not really K-pop. It’s just pop. It’s all in English and made in USA with American, Canadian and English producers. He wanted to conquer the western pop market, since he already is on the top of K-pop with BTS
The model is indeed a famous korean actress doing a cameo, her name is Han So Hee, google her name, she's one of the beauties of the kdrama industry.
In case you do not yet know... In 2022, the members, all 7 of them, started working on solo project and preparations for taking care of their mandatory military service.
Jin, the oldest had to report the end of 2022. He was able to release a solo song before he left. "The Astronaut" was a collab with Cold Play. Jin asked Chris Martin if they could help him write a song for ARMY. Jin will finish his service June 12th.
J-Hope released an album called Jack-in-the-Box. He did a solo concert at Lollapalooza. Two released MVs from the album are "More" and "Arson". He has a solo mixtape released a few years ago. Hobi enlisted the beginning of 2023. He will be back in a few months.
Suga released his album D-Day and was in the midst of his tour this time last year. (I saw him in Oakland, California. Awesome concert.) Suga/Agust D/Yoongi released two mixtapes before D-Day. My suggestion is to watch "Agust D" MV from his first mixtape (good intro to his persona, Agust D), and then watch the trilogy, "Daechwita" (from second mixtape), "Haegeum" and "Amygdala" (from D-Day) Suga began his service in Sept 2023. He has a permanent injury from a 2012 motorcycle accident, so is doing community service in lieau of full combat training. He will be the last member to return the end of June of 2025.
RM released his album, Indigo, in December 2022. He did an intimate concert with about 200 ARMYs, at Rolling Hall, an iconic venue for performers he watched pre-BTS days. "Wildflower" and "Still Life" are two MVs from this album. RM has two previous mixtapes, and has a new album, Right Place Wrong Person, coming out next week. "Come Back To Me" MV is the first release from the album. "Lost" will be released in a few days. RM and V began their service in December 2023 and will return June 2025.
V released his Layover album in September 2023. All six songs have an MV. He also released a single "Fri(end)s" in March 2024. He filmed the MV in Britain before he entered the military.
Jimin's album is Face came out in March 2023. The two MVs released for this album are "Set Me Free pt2" and "Like Crazy". (Regarding the title "Set Me Free pt2", the pt 2 is to distinguish it from Suga's "Set Me Free" from his second mix-tape. Jimin really likes Suga's song, but the songs have not other relationship other than the same title.) Jimin and Jungkook entered the military the day after RM and V, and will return the beginning of June.
Jungkook did a number of projects and performances. "Dreamers" MV was released in November 2022, and he performed in at the opening of the 2022 FIFA World Cup. He did a collab with for Charlie Puth's "Left and Right", and one for Kid Laroi's "Too Much". JK's album, Golden, was released November 2023. "Standing Next to You" and "Seven" are from this album.

So, in an earlier post, I mentioned 2016 MAMA (MNET Asian Music Awards) full live performance! But to be fair, they first appeared at this awards show in 2014, the year after their debut in June 2013!!!! I highly recommend you start BTS full MAMA live performances from the beginning to see their true evolution and influence in K-pop. Just a side note, as BTS became more popular for their live synchronized choreographed performances, many artists refused to play at awards shows. With this performance time already allotted in the show, MAMA asked if BTS would extend their performances!!!! This is why, with each subsequent year, BTS performances were extended and looked like over the top spectacular concert performances!!!!! They all show BTS was always on point from day one!!!!!!
Definitely check out '3D' and the explicit version of 'Seven' (Performance Video) by Jungkook as well as V's singles: 'Love me again', 'Slow dancing', 'Rainy Days' and 'Fri(end)s' just for starters. Then Suga's stuff will blow you away!
