Phelps quick movements, pointing , and talking loud with bulls nearby is worth a busted bull every episode. He’s such a likeable guy but it’s gotta be frustrating to hunt with him.
I really appreciate your video's because they show the work you have tp put in to be successful. Calling bulls in and not being able to shoot due to various obstacles, endless trekking . This is more like my experiences in the bush, nothing comes easily but the satisfaction when successful is unexplainable....
I get so amped up when you guys locate elk, I feel like I'm the with you. Im so glad you guys have a podcast there isn't enough good hunting shows out there and you guys are a perfect fit.
Totally agree these guys have changed the game. Sharing the ups and downs the laughter and the raw emotion. Not afraid to fail that's were it's at. I feel that's what makes me feel as if I'm really there with em. B.R.O. ain't nutten to fuck with. Wu-tang for life
I love how excited Jason gets when he sees an elk! Last year at 1/2 mile from a bull, Cory says shhhhh to a whispering bro...the elk can here you. Jason...ELK RIGHT THERE! lol. All love for my Wa brother! Thanks for keeping these going.
Enjoying the series so far. Some great looking elk country. I appreciate seeing you have to deal with other hunters. Lots of shows don't deal with that. Keep after it.
Phelps’ excitement gets me excited. Every time you guys call an elk in it’s like it’s the first time he’s heard a bugle. Even the best hunters and callers can’t hide the emotions 24/7.
Our experience in CO this year, hunting the last 6 days of the bow season was the elk were vocal from pre-dawn til about 10 AM, then bedded and silent the rest of the day. They spent the bedded part of the day on ridge tops over 10k, then moved down into the oat fields during the night, then progressed up hill on different routes from pre-dawn to late morning. All of our encounters were in early - mid. morning.
I can’t believe how excited Phelps gets when he sees a bull. Waited all day for this video 😎😎also I think you guys should paint up it worked for Dirk and Trent. Also how come only a few of you guys have tags and not all of you?🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦
Cody you do a great job calling you rock the elk woods and I love the comment Doug flutey kills me laughing my ass off love what you guys do and share with all of us think you so very much God bless you and all your family and friends amen
Another awesome video guys keep up the good work, we just brought in our second elk so far this season in Montana and we’d have one more tag to fill. We watched today’s episodes of Born and Raised and Hushin while we ate our late dinner once the elk was taken care of. Thanks again for all the hard work put in not only to the hunting but also the behind the scene stuff like editing and we always love the uncut session at the end! Who needs Dish Network when we have you guys, best entertainment ever!!!
Another great video guys! Thank you for bringing it to us. I know how hard you guys work to bring the best content you possibly can! And we all appreciate it greatly! Keeps me inspired big time! More than you know!!!
Great episode as usual...so many bulls so close yet so far hope it comes together at the end in Colorado... love the signing by Dr Fisher, DDS ... you guys always know how to have fun!
I think that bull had to be about 340! Glad we all get to head into the woods with you guys! I like seeing this type of realistic hunting where we get to see the frustrations and the rewards! Keep it up guys!
For moments like 36:45 have you guys ever thought about rattling? Have you ever tried that tactic on elk? Would be interesting to see some responses. Ive never seen anyone try it but hey it might just work. Try it next year guys for moments like that and see what happens.
Love the video and the tension was high only one thing subtracted from the video the cuts during one of you talkin it's just obvious and we're missing words but still loving it hooked forever so glad I found you guys last year!!
Is there elk involved on the cookouts and sleepovers? Bring in the throat puncher, the guy thats sponserd by carhartt. Just playin another great video with friends and family . Thanks captjohn.
BRO, you guys are killin it...out there grinding every day putting out great content! Much appreciated! Glad you are hunting MT earlier this year and am hoping the Bald, Ginger, Ty is your surprise...can't wait.
Born and raised in the San Luis Valley in Southern Colorado. My mom and my dad got a divorce when I was real young and my mother ended up remarrying a division of wildlife officer that was the regional manager. My real dad was a very very Avid Hunter as well as have been very avid Hunters since I can remember. It would two things I've ever cared about we're playing golf and fishing in the summer. And all about hunting Deer Antelope and my absolute love as much as golf if not a smile more ELK HUNTING... you guys are a true inspiration enjoy to watch and listen to not to mention learn from
while in colorado my favorite episode was when steve got his bull and not because it was the only kill but because it showed how in no time it can go from calm to full blown chaos, thats what i like so much about elk hunting. when Trent and Dirk were doing each others face paint was almost as good. Cant wait to see what the other states produce
More great action I get tickled at how excited Jason gets looks like he's hard to keep under control I can relate to that man it's awesome to get into bull's and that was big bull can't wait till tomorrow 👍 can't wait to see ty in Montana 👍
It's hard to watch this fall from Grace..from elk killers last year to singing divas this year 😂 haha...I am sticking through it all the way! #allepisodes
That bull was great! Ida let one fly at him. (If he presented) thanks for the shout-out regarding the Camp Fire. I live in Redding and we had the Carr Fire this last summer. So much devastation to Redding, Paradise, Magaila, & Concow. Please keep all the people effected in your thoughts.
Nice video ! That bull I am going to say, was like 330? I actually really like how excited Jason gets, It shows how much he likes to hunt. If I ever stop getting excited I think I would have to stop hunting. It helps to breath and stay as calm and still as you can and just use your eyes and ears.
Thank you, and may God continue to bless all your lives. You brought happiness and kindness in my great nephew Nate Kimble's life. A small suggestion on slow playing, I have had great success, soft cow sending out a couple calls every 15 minutes while resting, bringing in bulls. They come in without calling, but easy to hear as they make the noise and movement looking for the bedded cows. Normally it will be satellite bulls that are not looking for a fight, just a lonely lost cow. Good luck and thanks again. Ex guide, lifetime hunter, uncle Jon (J.D.) Davenport.
What gear (sleeping bags, shelters,...) are you guys using? I know you're using FirstLite clothes but what's your layering system like (what's the names of the particular clothes your wearing)?
Right at the end of the intro song where Kody is holding his bugle tube you guys should add his bugle to end the opening. I think it would sound bad ass to wrap it up. Just a thought
Bull was 335 7/64" Plus or minus a 32nd. Welcome to Colorado, they get called at lots here so they sneak in quiet when they are weary, kind of stinks. You guys crack me up. Also what unit are you hunting?
Elk hunting seems tough id love to get one but id have to use a gun after watching yalls up and downs I don’t got the patience lol y’all should be on tv the outdoor channel
When the wife hears this theme song, she knows to me the rest of the world does not exist for a hour.🤘 Thanks for the hard work filming these for all of us.
Phelps quick movements, pointing , and talking loud with bulls nearby is worth a busted bull every episode. He’s such a likeable guy but it’s gotta be frustrating to hunt with him.
Phelps is on city time ,he maybe looking for a cab !
Thanks again for a fun and great adventure today. I really needed it as I lost my older brother today. R.I.P Jerry, I'll miss you
Sorry for your loss
I really appreciate your video's because they show the work you have tp put in to be successful. Calling bulls in and not being able to shoot due to various obstacles, endless trekking . WOW!!! That Velcro was loud!! Almost as loud as Jason when he sees an elk coming in.
Enjoying the series so far. Some great looking elk country. I appreciate seeing you have to deal with other hunters. Lots of shows don't deal with that. Keep after it.
Colorado, was tough for you guy's. Love the series, favorite part was Dirk and Trent doing each others makeup.
We said it at the same time Bud..Damn he big (36:00 mark or so). Back to watching this hunt.
Phelps’ excitement gets me excited. Every time you guys call an elk in it’s like it’s the first time he’s heard a bugle. Even the best hunters and callers can’t hide the emotions 24/7.
I agree man. U get ty in the mix and the red hair brings the luck of big bulls and wild ones twoo
Best one yet !!!! The Dentist should come along more often 😂😂😂
I love that the uncut is full of a ton of cuts. Keep up the great work guys.

I love these LOTF vids guys. I've hunted elk in my home state of Kentucky. They are turning into a different animal.

That bull measures 311 and 3/8, sure of it!
I think that bull had to be about 340! Glad we all get to head into the woods with you guys! I like seeing this type of realistic hunting where we get to see the frustrations and the rewards! Keep it up guys!

The Bull looked huge...I'm gonna say 350 plus. To use a phrase from you guys, A frickin Elk-a-sauras!!!

BRO, you guys are killin it...out there grinding every day putting out great content! Much appreciated! Glad you are hunting MT earlier this year and am hoping the Bald, Ginger, Ty is your surprise...can't wait.
Favorite episode is Dirk Shoulder shot. Not for the results, but for the overall experience and how the situation affected everyone
Fantastic! American Idol CO edition. that bull was legit. Not much on scoring on the fly but my guess 310

awsome stuff guys I'm enjoying the videos tremendiously
What gear (sleeping bags, shelters,...) are you guys using? I know you're using FirstLite clothes but what's your layering system like (what's the names of the particular clothes your wearing)?
Good times thanks you guys.
@trevor not sure “adult beverages” are good for those teeth. 😂
Love 2.0. Good luck. Thanks for the content.
Any tips you boys have I’m heading up to unit 14 in September to muzzleloader hunt for first time?
Went to the dinner party last year it was a blast looking forward to goin again this year
Right at the end of the intro song where Kody is holding his bugle tube you guys should add his bugle to end the opening. I think it would sound bad ass to wrap it up. Just a thought
Loved the episode! Look forward to watching your show every evening. Great job bro crew!
Great episode
Thanks guys !
Cody how do you setup your tarp tent? Thanks

I’ve forgot insoles in my boots too! It sucks.
Loving 2.0 as much as last year.
Enjoying 2.0 here in Missouri
That bull looked like he is big enough to leave piles of Kingsford briquettes around. A Kingsford bull if you will.
Love the show. Keep up the great work
Hey
Can you guys in the future have some rifle hunt videos? Love your content in this series. 👌🏻
I was hunting Colorado at the same time and the elk acted the same way!
Bull was 335 7/64" Plus or minus a 32nd. Welcome to Colorado, they get called at lots here so they sneak in quiet when they are weary, kind of stinks. You guys crack me up. Also what unit are you hunting?
Best part of my work day... yes I am at work , I work mainly the 4-12 shift
Ready to see Ty (aka 3 arrow) hunt with you guys again. It's going to be a comedy show
why is his name "3 arrow" ?
@@deezelkane if you watch some of their old videos from before land of the free they gave him that name for releasing three arrows at an elk
Tyler Knapp thanks
Elk hunting seems tough id love to get one but id have to use a gun after watching yalls up and downs I don’t got the patience lol y’all should be on tv the outdoor channel
Cody what was the dehydration test you were doing on your hand
I like your episode looks fine Bulls a bugling wish I was there with you maybe one of these days
Can’t wait to meet you guys. Where who knows but I knowing is going to happen. Cheers 🍻
When the wife hears this theme song, she knows to me the rest of the world does not exist for a hour.🤘 Thanks for the hard work filming these for all of us.
