    She's a wee bit older than me, but I totally get the Crucifixtion. I was really young when I met her. She went out of her way to talk to me and always said hello. I was very shy in those days. I was very self conscious back then. It meant the world to me that she made me feel.as if I belonged. I can't say that for other female artists. Some of them would look right past me.

    I think that the interviewer, Eve Jackson , by mentioning very casually within a question she's elaborating, «we're in tthe middle of a climate change movement», does more for that movement than all the Greta Thunbergs of this world. It makes it real and inevitable. As for Kiki Smith, what more to say about her? She's a beautiful and serene genius.
