Seems like they've run out of tricks to do at the end of each show.

They have a lot more. The question is, which ones do they want to show on TV.

The end of each show isn't just about P&T doing a trick. It's about a performance to entertain the audience. This is actually a very P&T type of performance. Just like the performance on clear cups and balls and Teller's performance with the cigarette reveal. It isn't always about trying to fool the audience. It's about entertaining them with sometimes a different perspective on a known trick and the narrative they give along the way.

@@Mrvolpone91 Which is fine. And most of those end-of-show acts have been fine. The cigarette thing was interesting. The clear cups and balls was interesting. But I didn't find this one to be particularly interesting or entertaining at all.

@@PhilBagels Well not everyone's humor is the same. This "trick" in particular is supposed to be humorous to the audience. Normally when this is performed, you only see one object thrown. With their version, they ramp it up again and again up to the point where it's just ridiculous and obvious to even the target's perspective. That's all it was meant to be. A play on a common trick that in the usual P&T style. If you didn't find it funny, then it's just not for you. But saying they've run out of tricks just because you didn't find this one performance funny is pretty close minded.
