    Looks good. I really want to find a recipe like my old butcher shop had. It tasted like the best chicken soup ever made! I loved making those cold sandwiches every summer when it was too hot to move. They were very refreshing 😊

    my grandparents and great parents used to make a lot of these on the farm when we were little. with meats and veg. etc.

    Wonderful recipe... thank you for posting this. I'm Russian, so we make a dish called Kholodets which is close in technique. I will try your version now just to mix it up! I have lots of pickles.

    Aspic was traditionally made from boiling up chicken bones or beef bones.

    Aspic should have stayed in the 1960s. People who think it’s tasty either have never eaten it before or have brain damage caused by all the disgusting aspic they were forced to eat as a child.
