2. My Pouring Medium is the Valspar Ultra 833124 Base C high gloss: MinWax gloss varnish ~ 3:1 ratio to start, adjusted for consistency from there, aiming for a 2-3 second trace when mixed with paints.

Louise, each time I watch your videos, and hear you be hesitant about one color, how it is reacting or not, when you are done creating...it always comes out gorgeously!! I’ve used crème brûlée a few times and loved it, in combination with another color I can’t remember which. I’m glad I made this even more fun for you and thank you for being here.😘😘

I like this color palette. It really stands out. I'm a bit slow today. I've been the last 2 days in the heat. The Exchange Park is really gaining in popularity. I'm finding myself, more and more, working around the folks on blankets. I find myself going back and forth, trying to get my work done.

@@LouiseMcKayArt Other terms are two lovers pitching woo. Some just come out to sleep under the shade of the trees. Every once in awhile, a couple will string a hammock between the trees.

Thank you, Shirley, I might try more of them just by themselves. I know I the Seaglass works nicely alone, but tail feather for me has to be mixed with a tube. I’ll try to trust the TLP’s on their own more. They are beautiful. I just have to know how to work them in better. Thank you for commenting.🩷

@@KimsArtAlchemy thank you 😊 Kim, and yes, I’m often a little miserly on the paint laydown lol, certainly more color will bring more colorful outcome, you just have to be careful not to lay down so much paint that the blowout blows right off the edge when he spin it

V 😘you may very well be right. It is a pearl paint that I mixed with the sangria and maybe that is the problem. Maybe I need to only mix straight paint with the TLP. I’ll consider that for next time. Good tip.!

@@SuperRocketdog1 thank you Maureen, 😘TLP is this little piggy. It is a mica powder pigment sold through the Fluid art company. I have some they are very beautiful, but sometimes I have problems with them and it’s probably more reflection on my inexperience with them more than any problem with them per see.
