I haven't even watched this one yet but I know it's one of my favorites already, I love it when English does this
Blimey! that was an interesting video. You could add "bloody" which means "by our lady" such as in "bloody hell!"
It does not. It is from "blood" + "-y".
@@ComputerAndTechnologyChannelTM There's a bit of debate about that one, I think.
"Oh blimey! I am totally British!"
"Ommuhnuh" - Southern USA for "I am going to" (do such and such)
that's usually spelled I'mmana and its not specific to southern US (its also used in the UK, for example)
Keep it up Arika!
"Oh blimey! You are putting dogs in tins to eat?"
Great video as always Arika
"God be with ye" became "goodbye".
If that's the case, then what did the Spanish "Adios" (and French "Adieu") come from?
@@oreocreme450 A dios and a dieu, "To god".
Omg I lold at the end when he said 'sup.
Fascinating!
"Please" as in , "please, help me," comes from "If it please you..." Hence the requirement for a comma after or before the word "please."
Strewth!
So, "good day" was actually a thing?
it is still ;) ask an aussie ;)
Guten tag!
