Theo, this one was so fun! And your American friend is such an excellent co-host for you. She is so fresh and spontaneous. I love the French, only they would know the anatomy of a croissant! All these years and I had no idea that a croissant not only has ears but also a belt!
Best line in the video: “every time is a croissant time.” You are correct! I haven’t had a croissant from Liberté or Mamiche, so I’m going to try them on my next trip to Paris.
This was so much fun, loved it. Would love to see more bakery videos. The 'belt' of the croissant, brilliant! I thought Mamiche looked the most inviting of the bakeries.
I like the croissants at carton near gare du nord and at bon Marche. The second one reminds me of my local bakery here in nyc called Sullivan street bakery.
@@frenchguytheo The bakery at the corner of rue Friant has delicious croissants you might be able to find one there.🥐 I remember i would eat one in the morning
Question Theo! 🙋🏼♀️ Do you ask these places do film inside? Or no one really cares? In LA it’s a “thing” sometimes to try and film 🎥 without approval! Merci ☺️
I didn’t ask to film inside, and as I film with an iPhone nobody’s worried about it ! But when I was a teenager making video in the streets with a bigger camera people could feel weird about it
Of course croissant can be different from a boulangerie to another, but the most important thing is the moment you buy a croissant: there is nothing more satisfying than a fresh baked and still hot croissant. So eating croissant early in the morning is the best advice I can give, it's even more important than the boulangerie itself. So to me it doesn't worth waiting in line for hours to buy a croissant even with well renknowned boulangerie.

Thanks for your testing of croissants! I'll be in Paris April 19 for almost 2 weeks and will be sure to go to Libertine!
I'm so happy you loved it!
This sounds like a challenge, to find the BEST croissant in Paris. Great, fun and informative video - Merci :) ♥
Thank you!

Thanks for the video, I love croissants. Are there any good patisseries in the 14th arrondissement, something near Rue Alesia?
I should visit more this district ! But I'm sure you can find many good pastries here!
Love this!!!
I'm glad you loved it 🥰

Sounds like tbe bike lanes in New York City. It's rhe same here. They ride all directions, run red lights and don't care.
I think so! ahahah
