Remember when Marvel Studios came out and said they had the plans for movies set out until 2028? Can you imagine how much they’ve had to change since Chadwick died, the production Hell of Wakanda Forever, the delays with the pandemic and now William passing? I trust that they’ll make the right choices though
i think they would have some kind of plans in place to combat such situations whether it be some actor passing away or leaving the franchise or some other things to replace the actor (already planned) or delay the movies or some kind of mechanism in place

I grew up on Hulk and the Agents of SMASH, so I'm pretty used to having Red Hulk stay in his Hulk. I think that is the best option and respects him and the family.
He announced he had prostate cancer back in 2018 and it was terminal… so they have probably had plans in place given he went straight in to Black Widow after announcing that and has since done She-Hulk. Personally I think the family will have gave their blessing for a recast… my gut feeling is Sam Elliott, as he was one of the successful points from the Ang Lee Hulk movie… but I could see them doing a full time Red Hulk, but that kind of takes it away from the “who is the Red Hulk” storyline from the comics which I rather enjoyed.
I think Stephen Lang would be another good choice. He plays the General great in avatar and I think that would be pretty transferable. He's also a little bit younger so he'd have a little more longevity.
I'd love to see either Sam Elliott or Fred Tatasciore pick up the mantle as both have played Thunderbolt Ross in the movies or voiced him in an animated series.

I think if they are to adapt their take on Thunderbolts they would have Val have similar role that Norman Osborn had during 2008’s Dark Reign, where he controls both sectors Thunderbolts and Dark Avengers. Especially in the recent Devil Reigns event Kingpin is control of that aspect.

Chadwick was a special case, he never told Marvel about his cancer. The Thunderbolt Ross actor, hes been in the MCU since the beginning and wasnt a young guy plus he was in his 70sand wasnt doing much projects other than marvel. IMO.
My guess is there will be another person who takes over for Ross. I’m sure they only had him receiving the hulks DNA in She Hulk. So Ross is retired and the new guy becomes Red Hulk. Doing what Ross never could is how they will frame it.
I would like to see the Red Hulk eventually appear, but they should probably utilize the multiverse and recast. I also think that Black Panther should be recast as well. It's sad and you can honor the previous actors in some way, but these are franchises where all of the actors will have to be recast at some point. My guess is there will be another person who takes over for Ross. I’m sure they only had him receiving the hulks DNA in She Hulk. So Ross is retired and the new guy becomes Red Hulk. Doing what Ross never could is how they will frame it.
Just like T’Challa Chadwick, the only way to honour the character and the actor is to recast them
they need to find someone who looks like him and make him the replacement

Recast or make Ross' right-hand man, Talbot, pick up from what Ross started.
I would like to see the Red Hulk eventually appear, but they should probably utilize the multiverse and recast. I also think that Black Panther should be recast as well. It's sad and you can honor the previous actors in some way, but these are franchises where all of the actors will have to be recast at some point. Are we REALLY never going to have another Iron Man film? I know it won't be for a LONG time, but at some point, it can and should happen.
I guess if they ever restart things (end the MCU) or make movies of different universes then we will see a new IM

As far as Ross himself it’s probably not gonna happen but they can always rework the character and have Betty ross become red hulk like a she red hulk or something

They recast the Red Skull. They can Recast the Red Hulk... I want to see world war hulk. that would be bad ass.

They could use a muilt verse version of Ross in the MCU to play the Red Hulk in the MCU.

naw this circumstance may be different, Thunderbolt Ross doesnt have a Billion dollar movie under his belt.
I possible option is to use I story from the hulk comic . In which thunderbolt Ross friend general fortune injects red hulk with nano bombs that would kill him if he was to turn human could be used
