I feel like they haven't announced the rest of the team for story purposes, She hulk hasn't finished yet so it'd make sense to not potentially spoil anything
Well considering how they already released 7 members, along with thunderbolt ross, and the fact that they already decided to release the roster, it seems like this is the finished team. I highly doubt they’d give the team more than 8 members

I agree 100% with the ones you’d switch out, but instead of Scorpion, what about a genius for the team, in Justin Hammer? I would love to see him back, and think he’d be a fun addition to the team 😄

I kind of felt like the Thunderbolts should be a little bit of a mixture of the Thunderbolts comic book team, the Dark Avengers, and maybe get some influence from The Suicide Squad. I basically envision them as a larger Avengers team that is controlled by Thaddeus Ross. I think that would be cool but you know, Marvel version be "meh" a lot of times.
If that was case they would use Norman Osborn's Thunderbolts from Post-Civil War, because the team did have little similarity to the Suicide Squad even though the O.G Thunderbolts lineup were never liked the Suicide Squad and Brian Michael Bendis had Norman Osborn becoming director of H.A.M.M.E.R and formation of the Dark Avengers based on how he was influenced on Warren Ellis' Thunderbolts series.
I have the feeling that the Thunderbolts team in the movie would change and be different from what we got.
It for sure will from the roster always keeps changing whether some members die or walk away unharmed

Great lineup, love the addition of Bullseye, but I would personally add Zemo, Deathlok, and Deadpool to the lineup you made.
but bullseye has not been bulit up in the mcu and their is not time to do that either

Put Red Guardian for Winter Guard. Bring in real Taskmaster and replace the fake Taskmaster for him and they can use Antonia Dreykov as Darkstar, even though her real name is Laynia Petrovna from the comics but I can see being a mutant and also being part of the Winter Guard team just like the comics.

I honestly agree with this, but I want Bucky in it. The team needs a Hulk, a leader, a planner, a mercenary, a super-soldier, a marksman, spy and assassin. This means that Abomination/Red Hulk, Valentina, Baron Zemo, Taskmaster, U.S. Agent, Bullseye, Black Widow and Winter Soldier as well as Ghost should make up the team. Justin Hammer should be the one who builds their tech and Kingpin funding them.
They need a god, to take the place of Thor. The best candidate would be the newly introduced Hercules, or if not, Ikaris.
How about Modok who is expected to be introduced I believe in the Quantamania movie, how about through Him, A.i.m is rebuilt and someone like King Pin helps fund it. Justin Hammer kinda introduced as a joke in Iron Man 2, especially with the weapon he gave for War Machine, "the exwife". Modoc is way smarter than Hammer he would be a better choice.

You don't that with this awful team who has 5 characters that literally are super soldiers and who do the same thing .then get back to me .
Man I just think this cant happen for legal reasons, actors(schedules and other non-marvel projects), and characters that might be already in use, but we don’t know a thing because they keep everything secret.
Personally I like the team from the start, however, I would agree because Red Guardian isn't a Thunderbolts member and would've been as the Field Leader of the Winter Guard and the Winter Soldier, yeah, I think having him on the team and going back as a cold blooded Assassin and trying to move away from the past, plus I think here's the ten members I think would be better than the one we got.
Thunderbolts: Valentina Allegra de Fontaine (Director), Red Hulk (Front Leader), U.S. Agent (Field Leader), Ghost, Bullseye, Crimson Widow, Taskmaster, Scorpion, Baron Zemo and Abomination.

The problem with your line up is that you don’t have any idea what they are going up against. We can’t have hulk rampaging around if this is a secret assasination/rescue mission or something else. Marvel hasn’t told us if the Netflix properties are even canon, and what Charlie Cox has said it has become more unlikely.
Did I want to have Sonbird and Abomination on the team, yes. Do I understand that Marvel doesn’t believe that they are relevant to the cast, of course. Can you be mad and complain that your favorite characters aren’t on the team, why not. It’s completely okay.
We know so little about this project that I personally don’t want to be dissapointed yet. There is a reason for everyone being there. At first I didn’t want Bucky to be in the team either, but if the Thunderbolts are kinda Marvel’s version of the Suicide Squad, Bucky is the Rick Flag of the team.
I see it as a starter team...I think the team is going to rapidly change as time goes by.
That must be the reason, to get it started with existing characters. Maybe Zemo will form a team of his own as villains, including some comic ones.

I feel like this team would've a bit more interesting :
Baron Zemo (Civil War, F.A.T.W.S).
Yelena Belova (Black Widow 1).
US Agent (F.A.T.W.S).
Titania (She-Hulk).
Carl Creel/The Absorbing Man (Agents of Shield).
Donald Gill/Blizzard (Agents of Shield).
Ghost (Ant-Man 2).
Emil Blonsky/The Abomination (The Incredible Hulk).
Ares The Greek God of War.
The only "new" adition for the team would've been Ares. The reason is to MAKE HIM FIGHT The Sentry.
That way you can have a 3v1 using The Absorbing Man, Ares & The Abomination against The Sentry! 🔥🔥🔥
First of all it depends on the goal of the story. The Hulk wouldn’t have been a good fit in Captain America the Winter Soldier. However, action, story, pacing wise to me it’s the best Marvel film or at least in the top three. With this team you can tell a more grounded story with out cosmic consequences. At least that’s my opinion.
The current Lineup seems more like the Expendables rather than the Thunderbolts
Avengers - Captain America, Iron Man, Thor, Hulk, Hawkeye, Black Widow.
Thunderbolts - U.S. Agent, Baron Zemo, Hercules/Ikaris, Abomination, Taskmaster/Bullseye, Yelena.
Might be in the minority here, but I personally like the team (will admit, I wish zemo was there too)

Shadow cat an frank working together just makes to much sense overall. They both play by their own rules, they both don't like Fisk an they both would be entering the mcu along the same time line for their own stories from where they both left off in their previous series overall.

Hoping Zemo brings in the comic version to wipe out this team. Otherwise, maybe put in white vision instead of ghost. Shang instead of red guardian. Scorpion Venom instead of Taskmaster. Widow, Bucky and us agent are fine.

Let's wait until we see the film before we pass judgement. They're supposed to be screwups who are brought together to do what the Avengers won't do, that is if they still existed. I'm curious to see the characters interacting with each other and eventually learning to work together against whatever Valentina's plans for them. Hopefully they've learned from DCEU's first Suicide Squad what not to do with a film of this type. I'm hoping for a quality fun film and see how they handle Sentry. And if it's successful they can add other MCU characters that would fit in.
Gotta love how they've since removed Ghost, who is the only one with unique powers.

Bucky plays off Black Widow as they've both been brainwashed assassins.
Yes, it's a bit redundant, but it's a point of character connection.
Hell, military past or use as an assassin is basically the connecting aspect of these characters.
I get we want diversity, but there is a need for connection and common ground to bring them together.
Unfortunately I don't feel like Scorpion enriches it enough to justify replacing Bucky with him.

Val, Ghost, Yelena Black Widow, USAgent (pseudo-cap), Abomination (pseudo-Hulk), War Machine or Justin Hammer (pseudo-Iron Man); Agatha Harkness (pseudo Wanda); White Vision, Goliath? Red Guardian is a fool who will get himself killed. Winter Soldier will drop out. I don’t think Punisher would join. But better options exist than Scorpion or Bullseye (not possible)(yet). “Canon in the MCU” is ambiguous. AofS is “canon” AS AN ALTERNATE UNIVERSE. What is canon in OUR universe is CONTRACTS.

I know I have said this before but I don't believe this is the final line up for the team. I feel like we will get more reveals as time passes. I'm sure Abomination will be on the team once She-hulk ends. I think we will also for sure see at least one Classic Thunderbolts character from the comics make their debut in the Thunderbolts movie. Possibly Atlas, Moonstone or Songbird. Just my thoughts on that. As for your list...I don't see Scorpion as part of this. I'm not saying it's a bad pick. I just can't see it. I'd also much rather see him go head to head with Spidey. Bullseye though. I would absolutely trade Taskmaster, in any iteration MCU or Comic, for Bullseye. 100% behind that one.

Red Hulk and Abomination are both still former military affected by a variation of Super Soldier serum.
It's not a big enough change besides more brute tank types which Red Guardian evokes while not being as massive.
My idea would be that there are actually two teams. Val's team (We'll call them Freedom Force because I don't want to call them the Dark Avengers) and Ross's team (The Thunderbolts.) Val's team would be US Agent, Yelena, Ghost, Abomination, White Vision and Justin Hammer (with a flight suit, going by the name Mach 1). Ross's team would be Bucky and most of the actual Thunderbolts. Zemo, Moonstone, The Fixer, Songbird, Atlas and maybe Jolt. The two teams compete with each other over the same goal, (I'd especially like to see a Moonstone/Vision fight) then after several layers of betrayal by Zemo and Val and after Ross becomes Red Hulk and goes on a Zemo-induced rampage we get a new team going forward. Maybe something like; Yelena, Moonstone, Justin Hammer, Songbird, The Fixer and Atlas. Something like that.
Freedom force is already a team from X-men .
@@adamblack6867 I know that. But I don't see that version of Freedom Force ever being used in the MCU. Or those characters could form a version of the team later when mutants are more fully introduced to the MCU at some point if they wanted to. I just don't think they'll ever want to.

Ghost doesn’t have powers. I’d drop task master. I don’t mind the power sets being similar depending on the story. I mean, I love war movies like SavingPrivate Ryan and ALL those characters and side characters had the same powers. Normal dudes with guns.

Valentina - keep or swap for Zeemo
Ghost - switch for abomination
Red guardian - switch red hulk (dont care if not introduced already)
Yeleena - keep
Bucky - switch for a magic based character, geez i will take Wanda again
US Agent - keep, he should be the lead for the movie
Taskmaster - keep but give her some personality at least

No Baron Nemo (Citizen V) is just CRAZY to me. All the pieces are there for them to have the original members show up too. Mach-1 showing up as the new Iron Man guy seems like a huge miss by Marvel so far. Justin Hammer is in the MCU. Hell who doesnt want to see Sam Rockwell show back up on the big screen in the MCU. Black Widow (Yelena) is cool. Ghost replacing Songbird (I guess) is cool. USA Agent is cool. Why is Bucky even there?? They already got Taskmaster. Red Hulk or Abomination would be awesome but thats adding tons to the CGI budget. They should also include a Skrull on this team but *shrug*

You just made this even more Suicide Squad than it already was. Marvel the better comic book company doesn’t need to copy DC. They should have used the original Thunderbolts from Busiek’s run. I rather see the retreat group from She-Hulk than the current lineup as well.
Replace Ghost with Abomination and and Black Widow with Zemo. Then get real crazy and add Red Skull, Scorpion and Black Widow in the sequel. Boooom!!! Ha ha Let’s see how it turns out then we can praise it or rip it to pieces

Sony is going to just hand over the Spider-man characters for a movie? Sure. Right. Plus you are also assuming the characters announced, are the only characters who will appear in the movie. Why not just suggest Thor, War Machine or one of the Guardians of the Galaxy? You just want it more like The Suicide Squad, it sounds like to me.
It's about villains and anti-heroes having to redeem their criminal past, which is what the Thunderbolts are really about from the comics. The first incarnation of the team were no way closer to the DC's Suicide Squad as they were Masters of Evil masqurading as heroes trying to trick public until they decided to turn on their leader ) Baron Zemo and reformed after that. DC's Suicide Squad is villain group only being forced to good, in other words you either go on mission or die or get thrown in jail.

Thunderbolts can not have any powerhouses because it is a government sponsored team and the government needs to be able to control them. Anyone of Titania's or Abomination's levels increases the risk factor of the team getting out of hand and overpowered.
I agree with Scorpion and Bullseye though.
But they live in a world of powerhouses, it’s not really in option to not have any under your thumb
excalty Abomination is to overpowered but scorpion is never happening due to being own by sony and not enough time to build bullseye so the average fan cares about him
Honestly, I'm fine with Red Guardian. I think he could add some comic relief and I love David Harbour. I'd still add Abomination and Bullseye, but maybe sub Scorpion for Justin Hammer so that you have your Iron Man counterpart. I definitely agree that Bucky shouldn't be on this team, I can only see him playing a babysitter role and I'm really not interested in that for his character

Dead pool being in the movie can tie in to dead pool 3 and punisher being in the movie can tie in to a punisher tv show are movie
