Great video! What's the time limit you would recommend if you use the spotlight mount with a 500 W light? Is it a matter of just being mindful that the mount will get very hot or do you also need to consider the amount of time the higher power light is used as well?
thanks for the comment! it’s recommended to use the spotlight with a 300w & below light! we have used it with an aputure 600d but only had the light around 20-30%! if you plan on using a spotlight with higher power lights you should consider aputures newest spotlight mount!
I’ve heard that the Godox spotlight mount is not compatible with the Nanlite cob fixtures but you say on the video that you have used it with Nanlite lights. What model was the light which you used it with?
the godox spotlight has a bowens mount & is compatible with any light that has a bowens mount. the nanlite forza series of lights have a bowens mount & is compatible with the godox spotlight.
Will this work with an amaran 300c? A bit conflicted on buying this due to 300c's COB head length
Yes! I specifically got the VSA because it fits my Amaran 300C and 150C. 🔥🔥

I plan on buying a similar attachment soon. It can add so much dimension especially if you are filming in front of a less interesting background.

Does the VSA work on strobe also?
we’ve never tried this but as long as the strobe has a bowens mount it should work!
