Wood paneling just makes the entire case look classy. Like it's apart of a 70s home audio equipment kind of setup. I'm glad this is coming back in style.
It was just about to become unbearable. putting two sets of ARGB fans on a radiator had you managing more cables than came out of your PSU. I always wondered why that can't just be bluetooth or something.
That 79.99 case is going to sell really really well.... So long as Steve does not show it has bad thermals. Looks like it will perform reasonably well so thats gonna be a good seller.
The wireless RGB is nice for cable management, but it introduces standard issues for wireless anything. Limited number of devices on a receiver, signal interference from external sources between the RGB devices, creating signal interference for other wireless devices nearby, so far proprietary communication standard. Not using a powered hub also nice for cable management, but also introduces limitations, with the total amount of current available through the motherboard header vs independent SATA power. And if you are getting power from a USB port on the motherboard, and the power needs to be physically connected to all devices, it seems reasonable to pass USB data along that wire and forgo all of the wireless communication, but then we've pretty much reinvented Corsair Link.
I would like the option to choose full mesh or full glass on every case, and if they ever come out a third option, it is an easy swap. Semi version might be the third.
Im a fan of the way the wood accents flow into the design. Its pretty cool. Looks like a breeze to build in too. Its a spin on traditional cases that draws a lot of attention I am sure. I expect this will create some serious turbulence in the market as other companies catch on. I wonder what the Cost to Feature Measurement will be once this makes it into consumer hands.😁
question about the adapter though if you already own the fans and would like to get the adaper I'm curious what that is going to cost and if itll be worth paying for it to use instead of the one I already have for the fans.
Granted I had just recently got myself a new computer as I do not have tiny dexterous raccoon-like fingers to build myself one, all of the new Lian Li stuff looks quite promising!

I am surprised you didn't notice the center of the fan LCD that shows CPU temp and Fan speed right in the center of the fan itself. 👀👀👀😲 Lots of cool stuff from Lian Li ❤ Tho I am sad not to see full tower cases, as I am a full tower case person. Also love the new AIO hub and piping idea too. ❤
But does it fit these new behemoth GPU's Nvidia is releasing... I'm already having to use angled power adapters for my 3080 ti, I can't imagine these bigger ones now. What cart was in that all white build?

So how are you supposed to describe and do a mini review if you cant touch it I wish mboard manufacturers would make the 24pin on the side of the board facing just that the side instead of straight up as the norm. "LIAN LI Just Fixed RGB Forever!" No, they improved the physical aspect. The underlying problem with RGB still exists - the fact that there's no universal standard, and that every hardware manufacturer has their own software implementation. I'll never understand why PC RGB didn't adopt DMX.
The problem with RGB isn't the wires, it's incompatibility of RGB ecosystems. I bought Phanteks because it had a standard RGB headder to plug in to my Asus motherboard. No one cares about he wireless RGB, that's actually making the biggest problem worse.

Lian Li's Usb stick is too large they need a v2 revision imo, I would not use as it will block other USB ports.
Agree it's a bit large. Fortunately it comes with an adapter that lets you connect it to the motherboard's usb 2.0 header if you prefer
