I worked in Wyoming 50 yrs ago packing mules. By boss would recite that poem around the camp fire at night. I'll always remember that. Robert Service was the Charlie Russell of poetry
You might also like Desert Drifter. He goes out there looking for ancient paleo Indian sites but he is also very respectful and doesn’t disrespect or disturb what he finds.

Senior Brett, first of all, smoking cigars is NOT considered smoke. So, go ahead and light some good stogies. Two, that beautiful lady daughter of yours...Is she single? Just askin'. Third, do you think that Victorio and/or Geronimo caves would be any good in case things go to sh*t and we have to bug out? Fourth, leave the kitties alone! The music is awesome! Thank you for the awesome video
Another great ride with a side dish of story/history lesson. Love seeing the cave. Very interesting place. Keep Miss Bonnie cinched and the camera rolling!

Hi Brett, nice vist to the cave. Nice to see the dogs washed your ears and face on top😂. Nice spot to have a coffee on the way back. Thanks for sharing your story on the lion👍. Hope you have a great week my man. Take care. 🇺🇲🌲🔥🔪
We turned off the TV in 1998 when we lived in a place with three broadcast channels and a cable bill as much as a mortgage. We thought that paying someone to bring us 130 channels of commercials was a pretty stupid idea. So, off it went. Just at that time between BBS and a budding internet, we had media and news if we needed it. But reading, you know. Words on paper were a better option.
When you mentioned "The Road of the North" the bells went of in my head. In Alberta Canada, there is Highway 2 that runs through the province (mostly) from North to South. In the early days it became the Calgary- Edmonton Trail and earlier the Whoop-up trail from Ft. Benton Montana. But this was already an old, old Indian trail known as "The Old North Trail". It was said that it ran the full length of the Rocky Mountains just far enough out onto the plains for easier travel. The Explorer David Thompson in the late 1700s was told by some Piegan Indians about the time when they were first learning about the horse. Some warriors set off south on foot to find horses. It was a full two years later and everyone thought they were dead, when they showed up. They has horses and mules with saddles with flower designs on the leather that Thompson thought sounded like Spanish tack. He figured that these Piegans had gone south at least as far as New Mexico and then back!! Now here you mention "The Road of the North". If you look at the I-25, follow it up and cut across Montana to Sweetgrass and cross into Alberta. I wonder if this is the same "Old North Trail", from the Indian Dog days before the horse?
Great cave! I had the satellite TV turned off in 2008. I had free satellite for about 2 years. I watched NASA the most, space station was interesting. Tried the antenna for a while (analog) and played Nintendo a lot. Since my wife left I guit a lot of watching. She left 9 years ago.
Great ride Brett sure like those old Indian history lessons very interesting for this old Aussie. You do well poking around those places on foot also helps to work off those old cigars I see Bonnie was stepping out ok heading home.😊
Brett, this video may be an all time favorite for me. Rough and beautiful country seen thru your eyes and commentary was awesome. Great stories told to us so casually like we were there with you drinking coffee. Amazing talent you have my friend. Thank you for doing what you do. Onward and Upward.
A few of Robert Service's poems will put your life in perspective. Hank Snow does it justice. Well, it's been a while since I watched Ulzana's Raid, and your trip today has me longing for it. I am listening to The Ballad Of Blasphemous Bill, and oh, how I appreciate the internet, running hot water, and central heating!!
That was a great video Brett .. keep up the good work.. I really enjoy the caves and the stories of the Old People .. my wife is Native American, but her folks came across the Trail of Tears .. more culturaled than the people you are following !! Onward and Upward is the Watchword !!
Another great video. There's been people using that cave for a long, long time. Drive on the old highway from Albuquerque to Bernallio and you're on the Camino Real.
Nice Ride. That cave would keep you nice and dry in a rainstorm and warm at night but. You can see it for miles. So a fire would need to be in the back around a corner to not give you away. What a View. Had a water supply close n home sweet home. After you chased the rattlers away.
Brett good video. The cave was interesting and looked well used of the centuries. I watch both UTube videos you talked of and both are good. Dewayne has two channels. The DCW you spoke of and the other is Dry Creek Bible. I recommend all 3 of them
👵I can c now why I pray 4 u. . . Thought maybe u would hook up w/a cougar up there but glad u didn't cuz I don't c a side arm. But on the other hand who needs a side arm if u have Jesus. . . It's nice when the weather doesn't cooperate 2 go w/u out in the sticks and explore. Sad about the Lady and dog incident - we have those cats in our neck of the woods. I carry cuz I walk 2 miles in the morning b-4 breakfast, its on my new health regimen. . . Prayers 🤗🙏
