I love how Bob Moog describes the connection a musician can have with an electronic instrument... in you create sounds on a synthesizer then you know.. at some point to start to 'feel' the sound as it gets shaped through your direct working with it.. and a sound designer is born. :) Nice vid, thanks for sharing.
the hand painted Toyota wagon is just too cute. Reminds me of some goofy old hippie types I knew in California. I don't know about a connection between the grey matter and analog PCB. But I do know that Moog synths are generally more intuitive than a lot of other analog synths. Perhaps they mimic how our ears perceive tones better? Or the way vocal stresses and inflections work. Either way, I'd rather a Moog in most cases. But the ones they have made since his passing all seem a bit off. Like they are imitating the idiosyncrasies of older Moogs without understanding what they are.
This is why inmusic won’t be able to keep the real Moog analog alive. It requires intelligence and vision of a person like Bob. Anybody can create and build digital synths.
Bob Moog = genius. Thank God for Dr. Robert Moog.

Why do I seem to find cliff Stoll in some gestures of Dr Moog.
Any clue who owns the rights to this? Want to sample for a studio project
