Its just easy to calculate except for 8 power 5 as its all 4 to the power of something. 1 + 8 + 64 + 512(most people can get here mentally) then i knew 8 power 4 is 4096 because i quickly did 8 × 512 in my brain 2 × 512 = 1024 and 4 × 1024 = 4096. Now 8 x 4096 i had to do on paper. Added them all and produced the correct answer in less than 2 minutes

Or we can easily just do 2^10*2^8-1=1024*256-1=16384*16-1=65536*4-1=131072*2-1=262143 in less than 1 mins

@kimdokjasdream9158 depends on the speed of calculation and if people can actually figure out that they have to simplify to that. I was just giving a direct way without thinking

This is way more complicated then just doing the exponents and adding them together.
