I don't feel like this is a satisfactory 'answer' to the original problem. 9^900-9^901 simplifies to 9^900(-8). How does rewriting that as -(3^1800)*(2^3) help? I'd argue that -8*9^900 is a simpler form. But arguably 9^900-9^901 isn't that much worse.

You can do this problem quite simply by counting digits. 10 to 10 gives 11 digits. Each time you multiply by 9 you get another digit. So 9 to the 11 also has 11 digits. Since 10 to the 10 is the smallest possible 10 digit number 9 to the 11 is bigger since at a minimum the last digit will be > 0. No math needed.

These type of supposed proofs are good for a laugh but that is as far as it goes. The proof is utter garbage. The problem with this video is the incorrect use of BODMAS rule. Brackets are the 1st operation required. this then leaves 1^2 = 1^2. ie 1 =1. Order or power is the 2nd operation in BODMAS and cant be performed (or as in the silly video, eliminated as it appears on both side of the equality. I would also like to point out that this isn't algebra either. Algebraic expressions must include at least one variable (pronumerals)
